Over 30s old school club night!

Don your finest shell suit, dig out those chunky high heels and dust off your digital cameras and get ready to party with us like it’s 1999 (or 2009!), all in aid of our animals here at Gee gees ranch and rescue!

Studio 54: Disco Fever Night is set to transform the Hunter Club Arts Centre in Bury St Edmunds into a pulsating tribute to the legendary NYC nightclub.

The Hunter Club will come alive with the infectious rhythms of late 70s and early 80s disco. DJ Baz Rogers and guest DJs will spin classic tracks, recreating the electric atmosphere of disco's golden era.

This event promises a night of nostalgic glamour and non-stop dancing under the glow of shimmering disco balls.

Tickets are just £10, offering an accessible gateway to this retro extravaganza.

Every now and then, a band comes along whose music is so utterly, devastatingly beautiful and unique, you can’t fathom how the world coped without them. In a very short space of time, JADED TEETH have proven themselves the band you never knew you needed, and we can’t put into words how excited we are to see them headline The Hunter Club next Saturday, 7th September in a room that holds 120 people; at least 100 times less people than they deserve to be playing to.

Here’s the thing with venues closing or stopping to host live music - as 125 of them did last year. When one goes, the scene and community built around it goes too. So do the jobs, the late-night workers, and the pre- and post-gig pints. There’s a whole ecosystem around Grassroots Music Venues, and the more that close, the more other businesses will be affected. This includes the nearby pubs, taxi drivers, food vans and takeaways, hotels, local photographers, budding journalists, and... the list could go on. Protect Grassroots Music Venues - and protect jobs and communities across the board.

HUNTER COMEDY CLUB presents Louie Green

we are being joined by Louie Green on Saturday 27 July at our monthly comedy night.

Louie is a Suffolk based, proud working class comedian who is taking the comedy scene by storm. He has found himself performing in some of the biggest comedy clubs in the UK. His unique style leaves you feeling like he has been your mate for years.

Alec Jarman smashed the sound, on the bar we had George and Leo who put in an epic 13 hour shift to keep you all (de)hydrated!
