We had another busy weekend at Walking Wok where we had two back to back event on Saturday. First we off to Felixstowe for 120 pax wedding then we finished the evening with a joint birthday celebration for 100 people at
We were absolutely busy and forgot to take pictures except for these 😅
And as usual I want to thank my customers for having us to cater for your events and to my helpers for your hard work!

Well we had yet another busiest Saturday with back to back jobs from serving lunch for 60 pax for one of the Kawasaki race team in Snetterton then we rush off to Walsham-Le-Willow private party for 200 people.
It was a day where everything could go wrong with the rain and wind but I had an amazing team that helped us get through the tough situation and at the end everything was just as planned.. Food was served on time, customers and theirs guest were happy with both food and service. Happy day 😊

We were at historic Lavenham village for a special 80th Birthday celebration. We served cute little canapés which was a hit!
Glad the weather turns to be as perfect as it can be, not too hot and not too cold. My staff working hard and it’s like a well oiled machine. So thank you!

From last night 80th birthday party catering. They had Salmon okra and aubergine curry, chicken curry, duck with basil in plum sauce, Pak Choi with mushrooms and Acar (fresh pickle) which I usually use pineapple but customer not a big fan of it so I swap it with green apples 🍏 and it got thumbs up 👍🏼 😃

Hi, I have decided to scrap the idea of a Supper Club on the 27th April.
I have realised I was being too optimistic about the weather considering it is going to be outdoors, and after the recent bad weather, I have decided to do a pop up takeaway instead.
I will post the takeaway menu soon, but will still do this in aid of Grow Your Dough for my WiSH charity, and there will be raffle tickets to buy with interesting prizes to be won.

Another day rescuing a bee 🐝.
This poor fellow covered in sticky cobwebs. We had healthy working relationships where the bee use its legs and I use 2 tweezers on the delicate wings and we managed to clean it all up and set it free 🎉

Growing up on the Island of Borneo, Lily is inspired by the bold, fragrant and exotic flavours and ingredients of her home and childhood.

Lily has a deep routed passion for variety of Asian cuisine and especially Malaysian food that goes far beyond curry with Chinese, Indian, Nyonya and tribal delicacies from Borneo. Over the years, Lily has gained a wealth of experience in delivering delicious and authentic feasts. Her range of services include private dining, dinner parties, festival catering, street food and intimate ‘supper clubs’ at her home in Suffolk. Lily’s latest offering, is an Asian style canapés, offering a distinctive and indulgent alternative to the traditional Western version.
