Bushmills Salmon and Whiskey Festival 2022
As Saturday at the Bushmills Salmon and Whiskey festival almost comes to a close (plenty of bars and restaurants still going!). We are grateful to all the locals and visitors who came out to support the local businesses which was the prime focus of today.
Mid October tends to be quiet but today Bushmills was buzzing with activity! What was set to be a scaled down festival this year as we recovered from Covid the
numbers of people attending taster sessions and other activities exceeded all expectations!
Tomorrow we will see another day for the local businesses to open their doors to festival revellers and we welcome the Naturally North Coast and Glens market, Chef Demonstrations, live music and childrens activities. Dare we say it but the forecast is look very promising.
The great Ruairidh Morrisson from North Coast Smokehouse will be trading at the market tommorrow. We were thankful to have had him with us at our Dine around Bushmills event on Friday. Full disclosure we scoffed the lot, so he is no doubt busy in the smokehouse tonight!

Celebrity Chef Paula McIntyre MBE will be starting the day at the Bushmills VIC, then joining former Masterchef contestants Kerry Kane and Rachel Newman in the Millennium park Cookery Area (see the full festival programme on https://bit.ly/3Ez5tsJ ).
