We are excited to announce that the highly acclaimed and accomplished vocalist Jayne Darling - Vocalist & Entertainer is performing at Buxton Heritage Weekend 2024 on Saturday and Sunday 24th & 25th August, come along and soak up the fantastic atmosphere as the Crescent, The Square and Spring Gardens in the town transforms back to Heritage times. She'll be performing in the Crescent on Sunday bringing visitors the best of 1920's to 1960's music. From the nostalgia of Vera Lynn to the toe-tapping tunes of the Andrews Sisters, there will be something for everyone. So, bring your dancing shoes for those jives and lindys, wave your flags for the patriotic songs, or simply sit back and savour the atmosphere.

We are pleased to announce that the fabulous Maud Foster Steam Engine will be rolling into town courtesy of Jack Hardman, Hannah Mary with grandson Jack at the helm for Buxton Heritage Weekend 2024 on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th August. They will be situated in The Crescent and The Square near St Ann's Well.
Come along and enjoy this fantastic free event in the heart of Buxton, there's loads to see and do for all the family!

Buxton Heritage Weekend 24th 25th August 2024.

Celebrate Buxton's heritage and history over the weekend, in collaboration with J T Events.

Experience two days filled with entertainment, living history, vintage vehicles, various activities, and stalls offering food and drink, all set in the heart of Buxton around the iconic Buxton Crescent.

Whaley Bridge Carnival is on Saturday 29th June 2024 ❤

Come and join in the fun 😁 from 11am!

The parade will start at 1pm at Canal Street, along Buxton Road, through the village until Horwich End, Chapel Road, Old Road, onto Buxton Road and back to Canal Street.

On the Carnival field at the Transhipment Warehouse, Canal Basin and also Canal Wharf car park we have family entertainment as follows:-
