As Suze pointed out I’m spending the year learning about all different aspects of horticulture at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania 🇺🇸 I was incredibly lucky to be chosen as the RHS/GCA Fellow for the year 2024-2025. The scheme allows you to learn at a world famous garden as well as travel to different places of horticultural interest in the US. Applications are open for the next spot, starting in September 2025.

Helloooooo, we’re still here… just a little quieter over this crazy wreath making period! My partner in crime is currently in America for a whoooole year 🥺🤩 and the thought of juggling crazy amounts of wreath making AND working full time was not on my list of fun things to do this December 🤪

Instead our little workshop got a Christmas make over and I’ve ran a couple of private sessions, alongside making a handful of wreaths for those that return every year asking for one ♥️

Today was going to be a day finishing off my wreath orders and making a garland for a fireplace but in all honesty I can’t bring myself to brave the outdoors…we’ll try again on Wednesday 😵‍💫🍃🌬️

How was this nearly a month ago alreaaaady?!!

It was such a joy creating flowers for Claire and Ben’s wedding day back in September at the beautiful .chatsworth , we were left to our own devices to create whatever we wanted, they just asked for us to incorporate feathers and antlers into their arrangements 🙊🌻🧡🍂

This wouldn’t have been possible without the very talented .floraldesign, thank you once again for a fun couple of days!! The best floral hype girl around 🫶🏼💖

Not cut flowers for once! Incredibly lucky to have been able to enter a show garden in the Gardeners’ World Autumn Fair with . The theme was ‘edimentals’ using plants that were both edible and ornamental which we grew during our year on the Historic and Botanic Gardens Training Programme🌱 To complete our week of a super hot show build 🥵 we were awarded platinum 🏆 by Adam Frost!

So much has been learnt throughout the experience and forever grateful to the team at Audley End House for the knowledge, help and support 🥹

Two milk churns for a wedding this weekend. We didn’t have the milk churns to hand for the photos so improvised with a bread bin and a chimney, basically the same - right?! 🍞👀 This has been made completely without foam - just chicken wire in buckets!
