We've decided it's time for us, together, to do something positive for our planet🌲🌎

For every Tipi wedding we're going to plant 1 Native Tree 🌳 chosen by each couple, who will decide which spices of tree will be planted, based on a small selection:

We had a Tipi set up for our wedding and we couldn’t have been happier. Megan, Jack and the whole team were fantastic from start to finish. We were guided throughout in what we needed to create the perfect space for our reception. For whatever event you’re looking for we’d highly recommend Tipis in the Peak.

They held their special day under two giant hat tipis, creating a beautiful ceremony outdoors and having fun with sparklers to create magic moments like these.

⏰ The Festival takes place on Sunday 14th July and is open from 10am - 5pm.
🌳 Address: Bakewell Showground, DE45 1AH
⓷ What3Words location: greet.hello.lucky
🎟 Advance tickets £13, gate tickets £16, ages 15 and under FREE
🐶 Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be on a short lead.
🚌 Buses run into Bakewell all day from neighbouring villages, towns and cities - please visit our FAQs page to view timetable information.
🚙 There is space for over 1,000 cars to park on Bakewell Showground. Spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Parking costs £5 for the full day and our location also gives visitors pedestrian access into Bakewell town centre. Blue badge holder cars will be directed by parking stewards and be parked as close to event entrances as possible.

Introducing our newbie, Everyone say hello to Ruby.

As our business has grown, we’ve needed some extra helping hands. Ruby recently graduated with a first class honours degree, in Fashion Promotion. With a keen eye to detail, very clever with technology, great organisational skills & is dab handy with a camera 📸 we know she will do just fine joining our crew & we’re excited to introduce her to you as part of our team.

It takes more than just organising a team to build a tipi or two, theres a lot more to it. Filing accounts, payroll, social media, site visits, organising suppliers, invoicing, floor plans, H&S, lots of quotations.. the list goes on 😅 along with juggling children, family life. It’s a crazy ride, i can tell you! 🤩

Both myself and Jack want to focus on our couples and clients. Providing the face value we started with, being there on the end of the phone and offering our experience advice directly, so finding someone who can keep track of all the little (big things) is essential to us.

The day has come to find a right hand (women) to conquer the job rolls that i have done for the last 4 plus years sole heartily.

Everyone’s super kind & understanding on our juggles with children and not getting a reply straight away, because you know it’s just us and us alone, our couples love that we’re a small team & we pride in offering the best service we can. Family is the heart of our business, so when you invest in us you invest in our team too and we want that to continue.

We know they’re not the professional shots but sharing ideas of decor is helpful to future clients. Tipis dress themselves, in my option. Especially with the mood of the fairy lighting at night. Thats when the magic of the tipi happens.

The rustic poles & canvas create a warm, welcoming atmosphere creating their own wow factor- we are often asked how to dress the tipis- we’ve had the best of stylists in the industry style our very own tipis, (and they look amazing every time) but our firm found favourite is the personal touches couples bring to their venue we love the most.

Simple things, like the adventures theyve been on before married life, using table names of places theyve been too or memories made. A little touch i did love and have to ask the Bride Elly about was the drawing of the tipis that they used as a signing board- drawn by a special family member, which now they can frame & decor their home with a moment from a very special day.

Fresh flowers, foliage were a huge contribution to the wedding of Sam & Elly, we look foward to sharing the real shots from the talented 📸 when they land in our inbox.

Thank you both, ending your day with a hug of appreciation was the highlight of the entire event, the team left with satisfaction of what a great day you both had. Much love to you both 🩷

The Day we’ve been waiting for, our very clever Ruby (we will introduce her shortly) has been on site capturing a moment we’ve waited 6 months for! Our very own Sailcloth Marquee going up for a wedding this weekend…. We couldn’t have asked for better weather & location to pitch this mighty structure!
