📍 Location: Peak Flowers, 82 Spring Gardens, Buxton, SK17 6BZ
🗓️ Hours: Flexible part-time schedule, including Saturdays and occasional holidays.
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled florist to join our team! If you have experience in floristry and a love for creating beautiful floral arrangements, combined with a dedication to exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Floral Conditioning: Prepare and maintain flowers and foliage to ensure they remain fresh and vibrant.
✅ Customer Service: Provide exceptional service in-store, over the phone, and online, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering loyalty.
✅ Order Management: Process and manage online and phone orders, including taking payments and organising deliveries or pickups.
✅ Communication: Contact customers to confirm orders, resolve inquiries, and provide updates on delivery or customisation requests.
✅ Plant Care: Water and maintain indoor plants, keeping them healthy and presentable.
✅ Work Area Maintenance: Keep the shop tidy and organised, including cleaning workstations and communal areas.
✅ Creative Input: Assist in designing and assembling bouquets, arrangements, and displays to match customer preferences and seasonal trends.
✅ Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels and assist with unpacking and organising new stock deliveries.
Requirements
🌟 Proven experience in floristry, with a strong portfolio or examples of your work.
🌟 Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact warmly and professionally.
🌟 Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
🌟 Comfortable handling point-of-sale systems and managing payments.
🌟 Knowledge of flower and plant care, including conditioning techniques and arrangement styles.
🌟 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
🌟 Flexible schedule, including availability for Saturday shifts.
