This was a lovely event. There were some epic little dancers too. But we were buzzing with the enthusiastic shown by the grown ups- setting a great example to their children about being kind and having fun at the same time 🥰

✨ Car-park confessional style video incoming… Yes, I know it’s dark and a bit sketchy-looking but today deserved a debrief.

The lovely mum who booked us had everything thrown at her:
🚗 Chatsworth Christmas Market parking chaos
🌧️ Flooding closing roads
⚡ A power fault at the venue she’d hired

She was understandably stressed and the only thing I wanted her to feel was- "It’s fine. We’ve got you.”

We moved the whole party into their home, adjusted to the smaller space, shifted the plan, and made it work. I will always find a way to make your little one’s day magical.

Charlotte’s 3rd birthday ended up being absolutely gorgeous. I hope she had as much fun as we did. 💛✨

Meet our Elves and hear why they volunteer

Our third Elf to introduce herself is lovely Charlotte 😍

"My name is Charlotte and I’ve been helping out at the community grotto since it started. I’ve seen it go from us stood in the snow worried we won’t pull it off to people stopping me in Morrisons, recognising me as one of santas elves.
I’ve worked with children for 7 years now and I’ve seen how much financial pressure can impact families. The grotto takes this pressure off the grown ups and allows them to just enjoy watching their loved ones enjoy a Christmas activity completely for free. The grotto also gives a chance for families who may have Sen members to feel the excitement of a grotto catered to their needs! We’ve danced, sang, had snowball fights, made reindeer food and had so many amazing memories made at this grotto. I’m grateful to be apart of it and thankful to all my fellow elves who give up so much time to help it work."
