From 11am- 3:30pm you can come and take a self guided tour of our venue, meet a variety of our trusted suppliers, sample some of our tasty wedding menu and of course meet our team! 🙋‍

🌿 The amazing Long White Cloud Qigong recently hosted a peaceful 3-night Qigong Retreat here at Gradbach Mill! Using our stunning natural surroundings, the group practiced meditation, breathing techniques, and movement exercises, all set in perfect tranquility.

To top it off, they enjoyed catered breakfasts, lunches, and dinners – with themed evenings like Moroccan and Indian nights, plus a delightful afternoon tea. 🫖✨

Weekend Café, Bar & Restaurant Team Member Role: ☕️ 🍻 🥘

Starting from September onwards, this is a variable hour’s weekend role & includes working in our riverside cafe & in the old mill which is a venue for weddings, events, retreats & more. You’ll be serving customers, making coffee, working the bar, food service, pot-washing & anything else required for the day to day runnings

Experience in hospitality is a bonus, but experience not necessarily as a positive attitude, great communication, and a hardworking nature are far more important to us.

The role requires flexibility to work daytimes & evenings, independent transport due to our rural location and candidates must be 18+ (other positions available for 16-18’s too)

This would be a perfect job for a local student or someone looking for additional income.

Last month, the annual art group visited Gradbach Mill for an exclusive retreat. This group visit us every year to create art and learn from one another (and of course catch up over some great food!) - it's always such a pleasure to have them. 👩🏻‍🎨🌟

Features of their midweek retreat:
✨ 2-nights between our Mill rooms and cosy Miller's Cottage
✨ They made use of our outdoor space as inspiration
✨ They enjoyed a buffet breakfast
✨ Delicious 2-course meals both evenings

Due to a private event the cafe, toilets & outdoor spaces will be closed this Saturday 27th July.

We’ll be back open as normal 10-4 on Sunday & we’ll see you there ☀️

We’ll also be closed Sat 3rd, Sat 10th & Sat 31st August due to hosting wedding ceremonies but apart from that open daily 10-4 ☕️
