Trecenydd Community Centre is covered by CCTV; we have complete car park coverage. We have CCTV footage of two people removing carrier bags of rubbish from their cars and leaving it in the car park. It is not the responsibility of the caretaker or voluntary workers at the centre to pick up anyone's rubbish.
FLY TIPPING IS A CRIME In future any such evidence we have will be passed to the police and prosecution may follow.

Pleased to say the centre will be open from 04.05.21. subject to government guidelines. There will be restrictions as to how many people we are allowed in the hall. Any queries please get in touch with me. we would like to thank all our hirers for being so patient and hope to see you soon

Although we remain closed at the moment, we are working to make the centre as safe as possible for our future users. We have been very lucky and obtained a grant from Lottery Funding to change all our lighting to LED lighting. which will be of great benefit to the centre in reducing electricity bills.
We are also having CCTV installed. Before we open we will have the centre deep cleaned and sanitised and will put up all necessary signage which must be followed. The Management Committee hope you're all keeping well and we hope to see you at the centre in the near future.

Trecenydd Community Centre will remain closed for the foreseeable future. With the two metre social distancing rules in place, it would not be viable to open safely. The health of our volunteers and all those who attend the centre is our priority.
The committee which is made up entirely of volunteers have been working with the local authority to ensure that when we are in a position to re-open, we will be able to do so in a safe way whilst adhering all Government guidelines.
Unfortunately all events in the near future have been cancelled, including our pantomime which we are very disappointed about, however we must put the health of the community first.
As soon as we are in a position to re-open safely, we will do so.

Please do not put any waste in the rubbish bin at the centre. We pay to have the bin emptied and have suspended the service as we are closed so we are not generating rubbish at the centre. Anyone putting rubbish in the bin could be prosecuted as it is deemed as fly tipping which is illegal.

Happy ST. David's Day to all family and friends. Don't forget St David's Day concert at the centre Wednesday 4th tickets sold on the door £1 we have 2 school choirs and a local choir that sings for charity. Please come and support us.

Thanks to everyone who came to our St David's Day tea. We had a really good day. A very big Thank You to Local Vocals an amateur choir who were fantastic and we hope to see them again at our carol service.

Pantomime tickets are now on sale at the centre on a Thursday afternoon or Sunday evening or contact a Committee member.It's Sleeping Beauty this year, tickets are £2,00., and as usual the children will visit Father Christmas.

More info about our Fun Day on 19th May to celebrate Harry and Meghan's Wedding. Tickets are 50 pence 12.00 am-4.00 pm doors open 11.30 am There will be food for the children children's entertainer, bouncy castle and .face painting .There will also be will be a prize for best dressed prince and princess

The centre isn't going to have a Fun Day on Easter Monday this year. We thought it best to cancel in case we have the bad weather that hasbeen forecast. We wil be having a party to celebrate Harry and Maghan's wedding. There will be a children's entertainerand face painting. More information to follow.

The Management Committee would like to thank Sian Williams,and choirs from Hendredenny Park Primary School and Hendre Junior School for making our St. David's Day concert such a memorable none. It was a wonderful concert enjoyed by all.
