I don't believe it! I lost my craft scissors I used for opening up paint tubes etc in my window paint caddy. Bought a new one today.
Just how on earth am I meant to cut this open?

I had a fab afternoon at the funday for a youth group. Lots of fun activities on for the children and information stalls for the parents.
Whilst face painting the children, staff were able to chat with the parents in the queue.

I used this set up recently for a busy 5.5hr gig. Averaging 2.5mins per child. (Even with a quick restroom break!)
Quick well rehearsed designs for the busy high footfall events, client happy!

I love my face paint kit, everything I need, quick set up too. The style of painting and technique of one stroke painting allows me to be very creative with the colours I have in my kit.
My kit bag is carefully packed to allow me a quick set up and pack down. Also taking into account ease of use and also weight for transporting.
After all I do need to look after myself and not put my back out.

High winds and heavy driving rain called for plan B. Operation indoor!
Thankful to the community group for providing a lovely space for me and Sarah to work today. Very much needed to escape the rain and soaking face paint kit.
We had a fun afternoon! Sarah was in spiderman and tiger mode today! I started a Peacock club among the girls, all rallying around getting each other to have the Peacock design. They were all happy lol.

Very humid weather today so lots of children opted for arm paints or smaller designs.
The beauty of one stroke paints they are quite lightly painted and dry very quickly. They look very effective.
I loved these requests today!

Exam results day.....choose the path that is right for you x

Last year I had the pleasure of attending the careers fair at Caldicot school.
Showcasing my work from face painting, murals, window art, art trails and community projects.
So proud to be self employed and representing the self employed, entrepenuers and talking to the many talented students out there.
There is so much help out there for those that want to take a different path from university or college.

There are many start up funds, grants, business mentoring etc out there.
Prince of Wales trust is just one example.

Andrew Quelch - artist

Andrew has lived in the Chepstow area most of his life and now lives in Caldicot. He is a graduate of Kingston University, and a published Illustrator, with many years experience of commissioned work and exhibitions.

He largely works with Oil paints, Acrylics and chalk pastel. His works are atmospheric and colourful, and often thematic. Recent series of works were of the sea and waves, inspired by visits to Cornwall and West Wales.

He undertakes commissioned work, and he has set up an Etsy shop where he sells artworks and giclee prints.

Ooh nice face paint delivery today!
I only buy from UK reputable sites staying clear of copies on other selling sites. I only buy from the UK to make sure all the paints have FDA ingredients approved and tested for the EU and UK.

It's all in the detail, every paint label is checked. Recommended use by dates upon opening and also batch numbers.

My paints are vegan friendly too and not tested on animals.

I care about the details, I care about the customer experience.

Doing what I do and still loving it.
