The lovely Faye from Goatacre Village Hall has organised this lovely Xmas event in Chippenham on Saturday 30th November. Come along and enjoy some Xmas shopping and good food and see the light switch on.

Well can you believe it is only 3 more sleeps until Goatacre Village is transformed into a great fun family festival venue. Today the big marquee will be going up, trailer will get delivered for the staging and lots lots more going on behind the scenes. Don’t despair if you missed out on Oasis tickets this week. Well it is Monday and that means there are only 4 more sleeps to go… Watch this space for updates as we transform the cricket ground and village hall into the best Goatfest yet. This year our chosen colour is yellow. So grab your yellow tickets for Friday evening, Saturday or a weekend ticket for both. Each day ticket comes with a free drinks voucher and the weekend pass of course includes two! Great value indeed. Children under 5 are free and up to age 17 it is just £5 payable at the gate. Great lineup, lots to do and see, amazing selection of food from cake to curry and everything in between. That’s great value. Children under 5 go free and aged 5 - 17 years is payable at the gate for only £5. Weather report is good so why not come along and have that real local festival family fun day or weekend out. Chloe's Mobile Farm bringing along an entourage of cute and cuddly animals, free children’s craft activities, stalls, glitter gems and tattoos, rides, inflatable and toddler play tent. There will be freshly made smoothies, home made cakes, great food prepared freshly on site with locally sourced ingredients. The cider and real ale menu is in, Prosecco and gin bar looking good and of course it will be weather for Pimms. Something for all ages. Bring your own chairs and gazebo if wanted and pitch up to enjoy a great lineup of bands!
