🎅See Santa's in his Grotto in The Council Chamber, Calne Town Hall 1:30pm to 3pm and 5pm to 6pm.
🎀Visit many local craft, food, charity and creator stalls on both floors of the Town Hall, Bank Row and the High Street
🎁Find the Gift Tree in the Calne Town Hall foyer
💛Take a stroll through the Love Calne Market in Phelps Parade
🎼Choirs will be singing on the stage
🫏See the real life Nativity on Bank Row
🎭Spot our street entertainers who will bring some Christmas Cheer your way
🎠Enjoy the Jennings Fun Fair in Lower Sainsbury's car park
🎧Radio DJ's will be setting the background music to get you in the festive mood
🎄Visit St Mary's Church and the fabulous Calne Christmas Tree Festival
🌟And of course our lantern parade and firework finale

RESIDENT AND VISITOR EVENT INFORMATION - CALNE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

Please note the following information regarding the Town Event being held on Saturday 30 November.

⛔️🚧Temporary Road Closures and changes on Saturday 30 November for the Calne Christmas Festival of Lights:

The A4 is closed 1pm – 6pm between the Curzon Street roundabout and the New Road/Station Road roundabout.

The official diversion route is A4 / A342 via Sandy Lane/ A3102 via Mile Elm to re-join the A4 at London Road.

Resident only access from the Curzon Street roundabout to Market Hill between 1pm – 3pm and from 5.30pm-6pm (if safe to do so).

No vehicle access during 3pm-5.30pm to Market Hill or to Patford Street.

No access to the Church Street car park during the A4 road closure – exit only turning left towards London Road – no exit between 4.00pm-5.30pm (if safe to do so).

Church Street is closed between the A4 and junction with Mill Street 12pm – 7pm. The inbound diversion route is Brewers Lane/ Piggy Hill from London Road.
Cox’s Hill by the Town Hall is closed 12pm-7pm. To access Patford Street use Curzon Street, Market Hill, Castle Street until 3pm. No access then until 5.30pm (if safe to do so).

The procession leaves Bremhill View at approx. 3.45pm into the Town Centre via North Street, Wood Street, Curzon Street and The Strand.

No access from Oxford Road or Curzon Street into North Street whilst the parade is underway – please use bypass. Please follow instructions from marshals.

No buses will serve the Town Hall stop between 1pm – 6pm – nearest stops are Curzon Street or Oxford Road.

Access for emergency services vehicles will be maintained.

🐕‍🦺🐾INFORMATION FOR ANIMAL OWNERS

The finale fireworks display will happen adjacent to the Town Hall at approx. 4:45pm

We are in Miserden this eve from 4.30 come along and see us 🇯🇲

We are back in Calne today 2-8.30 same place, in the car park behind the old launderette 👇🏾 🇯🇲 

This is our new spot 🇯🇲behind the old laundrette in Calne. Go down the little lane and we are on your right! Or you can go right to the bottom sainsbury’s car park walk through like your going to town take the little lane and you will see us on the left 🇯🇲

We are in a different spot today still by the Sainsbury’s car park but take the little walk way to town and you will see us on the left!
