What an amazing day. We hope everyone enjoyed the day & had fun?

Us as a committee will be having a short break but we will then start planning so stay tuned.

We have spent the last almost 6 months planning for tomorrow, and we can't really believe it's here!

We're looking forward to a family fun day with lots of stalls and entertainment on stage.

Just a few things to note:-
▪️Please bring cash just in case card machines play up.

▪️ There are dedicated first aiders & a first aid tent which are there if needed.

▪️Please come prepared for all weather's.

▪️We also have a quiet tent, so if it does get too much then please make use of this.

▪️A reminder the event is on grass so please bring chairs, blankets and things to sit on to get comfy.

▪️There are limited parking spaces which is being kept for those that need it, so please refrain from using the car park that is at the venue.

▪️There will be plenty of marshals around in bright yellow hi vi's so if you need any help or assistance please do ask.

▪️This is a free entry event so all we ask is have fun & come say hi to our team on Calne pride stall.

A reminder for the parade:-
🏳️‍🌈 We are meeting at 📍 Calne Pop up park at 🕖1pm for a half 1 parade through town, there will be marshals along the way so please if you need anything please do ask.

The route is relatively easy & a loop back to the pop up park before people can disperse to head back to the event at 📍 The rec.

Call for marshals!

We are recruiting volunteer marshals for Calne Pride 2024, on Saturday 1st June at Calne Recreation Ground.

Marshal slots are 10.30am-2.30pm, 2.30-6.30pm and 6-10pm. You are more than welcome to do more than one slot if you feel you can. All marshals will be provided with a food voucher redeemable with Calne Lions burger van to receive 30% off on the day.

The volunteer roles range from helping with the Parade, manning the main gate, overseeing performers’ gear, stage marshals and stalls marshals, as well as general presence.

Volunteers to marshal must commit to a marshals’ briefing at 8.00pm on Thursday 30th May, at Calne Liberal Club. Non-attendees will not be able to volunteer at the event.

If you'd like to marshal please let us know so we can get your name down.

We appreciate any help that you're able to give.

With also a performance from students of Kingsbury green aswell, we are super excited for all the amazing talent that will be on our stage. 🏳️‍🌈

We hope to see you all there to enjoy the likes of:-
PSG choirs Saharah Sisters, white horse samba band and Crystal lake performing its set to be a fantastic day.

And don't forget we have the lovely Trixie Lee & Kylie alike too. 🎵🎶
