Founders of Bowood Triathlon & Duathlon, Devizes Half Marathon and Lake 62 events

On the 6th April 2025 the Devizes Half Marathon is back, that blend of market town and rolling Wiltshire country side!

But there’s also the return of our ever popular 1.5km junior race, designed to give the same atmosphere and conditions as a full adult race.

We stumbled across a map from 1920 of the local area. We pinpoint where Lake 62 was dug.

This was before the spine road and A419 were built.
