This will be our last Saturday we shall be open in Calstock It was such a wet, windy day today that we have a number of cold pasties to sell off. First come, first serve tomorrow so stock those freezers up. We shall be open Tuesday to Friday next week with Friday 28th October, sadly, being our last day. Enjoy our fresh pasties on your doorstep whilst you can :)

With a heavy heart, we have to announce that our Calstock shop will be shutting. We have loved being in our village, but it is time to admit that it is not financially viable in the current financial climate.
Heartbreakingly, we are also having to say goodbye to the amazing Lindsay clerk. Lindsay is not just an employee but our dear friend. She is loyal, enthusiastic and hard-working. Many of you will have gotten used to her cheerful face and contagious laugh at the shop. She was a great asset to our business and we will miss her very much!
For the foreseeable future, we will be a company of two pasty makers and Jai, our Saturday worker. It is not a decision we made lightly, I have agonised over it for months, but we have to protect OTT to ensure it survives.
Before the pandemic, there were eleven workers,but bit by bit, some moving away, others going to Uni, we have reduced and reduced. Now it is a necessity to keep our business going. We may have taken a battering with price hikes, personal tragedies, and bereavements but we are still holding on and ready to fight!
So the plan? We are taking the business back to its' roots. Two people, hand-making their pasties out of the Callington unit. We shall be open Wednesday through Saturday, concentrating on getting our pasties just perfect, working to produce more vegetarian and vegan options and hopefully, some homemade traditional Cornish cakes. The reduced opening days will help us reduce our energy costs and give us extra time to produce new and exciting specials.
If you enjoy our pasties, please continue to support us as loyally as you have for the past five years. We know times are hard, money is tight but, if you can, support all your little local businesses. You may not be able to afford to do this weekly, if you spend just a few pounds a month locally, it makes a huge difference.
Calstock, we thankyou for your support, we will be closing in approx two to three weeks. We shall take away some fabulous memories of our time serving you and we hope you have enjoyed having us.

Let us present to you the "Mozz Big Breakfast Pasty", the perfect combination of sausage meat, bacon , beans, egg, hash browns and cheese. This huge and satisfying pasty was suggested to us by one of our loyal customers whom we have named it after. These will be available to pre-order tomorrow and next week for £5.00. You had best be hungry if you order this one!

We have had a bit of an oops moment today with a vegan order, they are a tad too golden so we have reduced them to three pounds. They are not pretty but they are tasty! We have jackfruit, plain vegetable and sietan available.

Friday, how we love you! We are open today in Calstock with masses of pasties, sausage rolls and scotch eggs. We also have cold pasties at £2.20 each or three for £6 an easy, cheap option for lunch or tea today. If you need a few household groceries or sweet treats we also have a surprising variety in our little shop. Everything from eggs to cereal, cat food to nappies, washing up liquid to frozen meals. just pop on down :)

It may be a bank holiday but you can buy pasties from 10 am until 2pm at our Calstock shop plus we shall have our usual essential supplies and goodies, in case you do not want to leave the village! Callington will be shut though. Both shops are open on Saturday so get your Easter pasty fix on!

As well as our delicious pasties, we also sell, bread, milk, tea, coffee, cold drinks, confectionary, cheese, bacon, hotdogs, frozen food, the list just goes on. Pop in and check us out if you have not already

You can tell the Easter holidays are upon us as the kitchen was very busy today as people collected pasties to go out on family trips. We shall re-open tomorrow with plenty of freshly made and baked pasties, message or ring us, if you would like to pre-order.
Remember we are delivering to Tavistock again tomorrow, let us know if you would like a delivery.
