When your flowers come in for your wedding, they are dehydrated and need to go through a conditioning process… These came in yesterday for a wedding this weekend. Four hours of conditioning and getting them in water for the first start of the process of hydrating. Some of the roses have to have the cardboard left on for 24 hours whilst they are taking up water. This is to prevent their heads from drooping in the first initial start of the hydration process. Today I have removed the cardboard and tomorrow I will be changing the water, adding more flower food and checking that all is looking well.. I’ll be looking for the best of blooms out of the bunch for creating the floral designs and arrangements..
So much relies on this very important process to ensure your wedding blooms are at their best …
