Session Event hire was born from lockdown, our main business Session Music which we have run for over 30 years like everyone hit hard by the 2020 lockdown and UK pandemic, so we decided to use our years of experience and passion for films and parties to create our new branch of our business - Session Event Hire. We are a family run business with passion for our craft. Run by Steve and Jo Oates we each bring different experience and expertise to the table. Steve has over 25 years experience in audio, lighting and visual equipment, specialising in home and venue installations and has worked with karaoke for the length of his career, whilst Jo brings luxury brand and events marketing to the business from a career in 5* spas, hotels and sporting events not forgetting marketing within the worlds second largest visitor attraction - Merlin Entertainments - between us we know how to create magical moments and give your event the edge.

For many years our passion has been film, so we’ve invested in the very best equipment, we want to create the best cinematic experience possible in your garden or home. Our 140” inflatable HD outdoor screen or our 120” automatic HD screen, paired with our 5500 ANSI lumin HD projector and your choice of HD sound wireless headsets or speaker system with subwoofer create the automophere - you’ve just got to pick the movie!
