When you make the decision to ‘get your family photos done’, it’s not actually about the photos.

Think about WHY you take a quick snap on your phone, for example. The memory? Absolutely.

1. Location: Choose a place familiar to everyone. It eases the nerves.
2. Snacks! (non messy) just for when other photos are being taken it’s good entertainment.
3. Timing: Opt for a time when the kids are most active and alert.
4. Dress comfortably: Coordinating outfits is cute, but comfort is also key for natural shots.
5. Trust your photographer: Sometimes the unplanned moments make the best memories.

This is popular one. So there’s two things you need to know:
1. Once your  Session is all booked, I will send you a super special ‘Welcome Guide’, which has a whole section dedicated to the ‘What to Wear’.
It covers ALL the practicalities + all things colours/textures + lots of gold nuggets that will choosing the perfect ensemble to frolic around in.

One of the things I hear alot ? That you need to pose in a Pinterest-worthy way to get great family shots.
That mindset? It’s holding you back.
Here’s the real talk: You want to capture the genuine, spontaneous moments of your family..
But it’s not about hitting that Instagram-perfect pose every time.
It’s more about being your authentic selves and letting your love shine naturally in front of the camera.
Quick Tip: Start by letting go of any preconceived notions about how you should look or act.
And? Don’t be afraid to laugh out loud, or share a quiet moment, or just be silly together.
End game? Photos that genuinely reflect the unique bond and chemistry you all have as a family not just the posed shots everyone else has.

I feel like it’s time to share a little secret with you
..You likely won’t feel comfortable at the start of your photo session
Maybe it’ll be only a little awkward, or a load of nerves wash over you.
That part depends on you.
The next part, depends on me
If I’m doing my job correctly, I will guide you through your session in such a way that soon enough, things will seem easier.
Simpler.
Funnier.
Lovelier.
