Dubai is the business hub and desired destination for people from all over the world. With the recent record breaking rain caused flooding in Dubai roads, airport , that brought a huge disruption to connecting flights people choose to take from Dubai airport. As we recorded this video, we found many who had to stay inside the airport for more than four days in a desperate situation before finding their desired connecting flights. The atmosphere inside the airport is horrific. It seemed the human made revolution is so weak in comparison to the wonder of natural disaster.
Lesson : Stay humble, We are too weak but our Lord is the most and ultimate powerful!

As we are approaching towards the end of a blessed month , it’s time for ourselves to ask whether we have made the most of this blessed month or not? Whether we will be able to get another one during our life span ? How much were we able to change ourselves ? Were we able to get a bit closer to our creator? Is our heart softer then what it was ? If we are doubtful, then nothing to worry about, we still have two more nights to ask for all the things we have been thinking about.
If we can say yes to all of those questions then, Alhamdulillah! May all of our best wishes come true !
Let’s pray for each other as we are coming closer to our final destination each day !!

Just after the Suhoor( pre dawn meal) which , our hotel was kind to provide as we choose not to have breakfast 😉, we dicided to go to Suleymaniye Mosque, Istanbul and pray the fazar ( morning prayer ). We took an Uber, which took us about 10 minutes from hotel. We were a bit too early to be there as no one was there apart from two women’s and few cats , however it turned out to be a great decision as it helped us to explore the amazing view of the mosque, both from outside and inside without a hassle. The mosque was built under the ruling of Ottoman caliph “Suleyman the magnificent” in the 15th century. Just after the fazar Adhan( which we filmed while we were inside the mosque), the imam recited the holy Quran which was so peaceful to hear. We prayed congregated fazar prayer. The number of worshippers surprised me as, the place which easily could accommodate few thousands of worshippers ,that had only few of us during the prayer, especially in the month of Ramadan. A beginning of another peaceful day!

After a long time we experienced the loud Adhan ( call for prayer). After a beautiful Iftar experience ,( which we will share later ) , we were looking to find a mosque to pray Isha and Tarawee, but it wasn’t a difficult job to find one, there are mosques in every single corner of Istanbul city. We prayed tarawee in one of the historic ottoman mosque. Completely different experience of the way they prayed their Tarawee ( I will share the experience in later posts). Then we headed back to the hotel, we got lost 😀, but you never get lost in a city like Istanbul,where you will definitely find someone who will help you to find your way. First day went well Alhamdulillah!
