Our second headliner, making a hotly anticipated return to the junction, is the inimitable

Since winning BBC’s prestigious Essential Mix of the Year in 2021, spotlighting her radiant blend of classic house, breakbeat and experimental electronica to the world over, Elkka has been an unstoppable force within the London underground. She has played at pretty much every major UK festival and toured around the world, played b2b with Jamie xx and has just released a spellbinding debut album.

‘Prism of Pleasure’ is easily the most authentic expression of Elkka’s artistry to date. Written over the space of 18 months, the record encapsulates Elkka’s essence as a bold, q***r woman who pushes freedom and sensuality to the forefront of her work. After coming out and moving to London in her 20s, the musician started DJing, writing and producing, which eventually led to her launching her own record label, femme culture, and running her own q***r club nights off the back of that. More than just your typical, fleeting DJ obsession, Elkka is actively building the blocks for a better tomorrow.

► Slipped Disc returns from the Junction success in January to infuse Cambridge city centre with its feel-good groove and bass. *For the first time ever,* we are giving away all tickets for free for this boogie! Be sure to set your alarms for the ticket launch as they could be gone in seconds.

► The boogie will take place in The Grain and Hop Store’s refurbished upstairs club room, which boasts a cutting edge sound system and plenty of space for you to craft some shapes on the D-floor. It is the perfect place for you to decompress to the sound of exciting new music and the perfect venue to bring the Slipped Disc energy into the heart of town. We have no doubt that you all will more than match it!
