Hot on the hooves of arguably our best BE ever, we had another memorable day on Saturday for our unaffiliated horse trials. It was great to see the rain easing up, the ground holding up, and so many of you turning up for another brilliant day!
As always, we are hugely grateful for the continued support of our wonderful sponsors and partners, without whom we simply couldn’t run. Likewise, we are in awe of our fantastic army of volunteers and officials who invest so much heart and soul into making it all happen - and we are ever thankful to everyone that helps make Horseheath such a welcoming and friendly experience.

We have loved having the addition of a 70cm class this year. And so have you by the sounds of it…listen out for the little celebratory ‘Yeesss!’ as this competitor completes the course. Brilliant! 😀
Well, British Eventing really shone at Horseheath this weekend, didn't it? We’ve been thrilled by the professionals doing their thing, delighted by the numbers coming through the gate, and stunned by some truly dazzling scores! A million thank-yous to everyone that has worked so hard - to Tim and the team for everything they do, to all our wonderful sponsors and partners, whose continued support makes it possible to run, to our exceptional army of volunteers and officials who, with great spirit, always go above and beyond to deliver a positive experience - and to all our fabulous competitors who rode so beautifully and bravely once again. You are a credit to your sport. Thank you all for coming. We can't wait to do it all again!

Not only have we seen some fantastic competition in the BE100 Classes this afternoon – but we’ve ended the first day with a phenomenal dressage score of 9.8. Yes, that’s right…nine…point…eight! 😳
It came from Olympic eventer Gemma Stevens on her first ever visit to Horseheath. Gemma had a brilliant day here today, winning three out of the five BE100 classes.
👉 BE100 Section G – riding Chilli Morning IV, a clone of the the world and European eventing medallist and Badminton champion, Chilli Morning, owned by Mr Christopher Stone.
👉 BE100 Section H – riding Cooley Park Muze, finishing first on her dressage score of 9.8
👉BE Section I – on Chilli’s Jester, owned by Mr Christopher Stone and Chris and Clare Mathias
