A Kindakafe pioneer/s required....

KindaSock is the social impact division of The Mising Sock. Early in the new year we are seeking to launch our ethical community cafe serving mindful refreshment, creating a unique facility to support entertainment, local community events, and well being facilities. Independently operated and working closely with other operators in the venue as a collaborative team, a commuity of like minded with a passion for hospitality and making a sustainable difference to community building. The kitchen and catering will likely be independently operated, although a partnership could be considered.

The KindaKafe movement is much more than a socal cafe, think community, think enough is enough! Make it fit your passion, its not a job, but a vocational opportunity.

The KindaSock holds a non-profit community building vision connecting nodes throughout the UK, a training centre for youth Community Builder, an alternative Health Care and fitness centre, inclusive for all ages! We have a big vision to build community and reintroduce root values and inclusively connecting cultures. A KindaSound radio station, A KindaPublishing initiative to kick start unfunded kindness authors, KindaConvoy leaving the Sock in the Spring to spread kindness and back2root initaitives. We do need volunteers though to assist with our ambitious programmes to make change. We will also be seeking sponsors to accelerate the ambitions of KindaConvoy

Good day Sock Followers, this rebranding is a slow process, age may have some influence although i am extremely grateful, not the quick thinking sock i was back in 2009, but determined to learn and be grateful for the past and the future potential the Sock offers to serve the Missing Kind Mission.

POSITIONS now open to applications to those with a community and social service mindset.

We seek a KindaKafe partner, the cornerstone for the pathway ahead, independently operating an ethical cafe and well being shop. We would consider and favour a local or youth cooperative for this position.

Also interested to hear from an ethical caterer, to support events, cafe and potentially a take out delivery service.

We invite those in mind and body wellness to contact us for hire of therapy and fitness spaces, hosting of events and conferences

In addition we have some amazing charity initiatives on the drawing board for 2025 at the KindaSock, hence we require admin, fund raising, event planning and PA support. This is a fixed term contract position for the setting up period , thereafter dependent on our fund raising. An events taster is KindaSound radio,kindaConvoy, kindaPublishing, KindaSoul wakeups, kidsKindness club, kindavillages, KindaArt Gallery, much more which depends on you!...busy and uplifting times for those seeking community kindness and a yoyful experience for the coming times . Sock update....Our invitation to you, please join us next Monday 28th,at 7pm for an introduction to the KindaSock at the Missing Sock. Hear about our intentions and the opportunity for the like minded to share the vision. Hear about the KindaSock, the KindaKafe, KindaCuisine, the film and talk nights, the thisORthat suppers, KidsKindnessKlub, the training of Community Builders, the 2025 kindaconvoy, much more and also lets listen to your passion and ideas. There will be many opportunities to engage with the KindaSock as service providers, guest members and volunteers. We intend to post the community projects on a new page, preserving this page for entertainment and funding events at the Sock. Hx

Hoping everyone is well. H is now in situ for a while to focus on restoring the lost values of tMS, the Missing Kind!. Push the wellbeing and community side of the sock. I am happy to report that SarahSock is back on board in her old role of wedding and events coordinator restoring those unique features that was once our trademark. We also have SocJohn, who has been busily restoring the venue and will host those larger events, our bread and butter to cover the overheads.

Part of this relaunch process is to invite anyone interested for a discovery cuppa and chat on Monday evening from 6.30pm, or by arrangement at other times.

We would like to then make that a regular event to discuss the sock development. The mindset required is one of community building , sharing with joy and inner peace as our motive. Other specific themed midweek nights will develop with early morning Mindful hours is an option for a community minded operator

A new social media platform KindaSockwill be set up for the cafe and midweek activities so not to confuse with the celebration events. We have an extensive list of potential wellbeing events which we will discuss on cuppa night before posting

Hopeing everyone is well, for me, well I'm in situ for a while to focus on restoring the lost values of tMS. It's at last time to push the wellbeing and Community side of the sock, the learning from fork tongues has not been wasted, gratitude and understanding prevail! I am very happy to say SarahSock is back on board with us in her old role of wedding coordinator restoring those unique features that became our trademark. We have our SocJohn, who has been busily restoring the venue to host those larger events, which is our bread and butter to cover the overheads.

Part of this relaunch process is to invite anyone interested for a discovery cuppa on Monday Evening evening from 6.30pm, or by arrangement at other times.

i would like to then make that a weekly event, every monday to discuss the sock and how the venue can all be of community service. we can soon mix that in with some homemade music, a quiz perhaps, a meditation, documentary. etc. You may choose to reset to another midweek night. The mindset required is one of community building , sharing and kindness with joy and inner peace as our motive. Other specific themed midweek nights will develop. Early morning Mindful hours is also an option for a community minded operator
