Returning to The Missing Sock next weekend, We Love 45s Cambridge - Annual Day - Saturday 7th September 2pm-10pm family friendly (under 16s free, must be accompanied by responsible adult) - this year with break dance crew FLEX throwing some shapes and giving some adhoc workshops! Over 10 DJs playing vinyl only with special guest DJ Smoove Smoove and Turrell / Jalapeno Records.

We will be hosting four talent evenings at The Missing Sock on Thursdays starting 23rd May, with the following categories:

23rd May: Acoustic music
30th May: Cabaret/circus
6th June: Comedy/magic
13th June: Anything else/misc

Winners will be chosen by the audience and The Missing Sock team each evening, and those acts will be given paid opportunities to perform at events taking place at the venue. Also every act will gain a professional video of their performance! 🎥

The Missing Sock would like to invite the members of the community to Dr Terrie Hope’s presentations today and tomorrow. Today’s presentation is “Beyond Stress and Burnout” where you will receive a free Access Bars session- free lunch provided. Tomorrow is “The possibilities in a Neuro diverse world”. Suitable for all ages where she shares her research around adhd & autism, again you get to experience a free Access Bars session. So my recommendation if you are experiencing anxiety, feeling stressed, overwhelmed and need a change of mindset come and join us for these amazing events - which are by donation. Due to unexpected heating challenges, The Missing Sock Venue's opening has been rescheduled for April.

However our dedicated staff will still be here on site this Saturday – feel free to pop in if you're considering an event!
