A dreamy installation for C&E to marry underneath this morning 💫

This arch was a real joy to create and a firm favourite of the team- an abundance of hydrangea, roses and English foliages with colours clustered together for maximum impact. Foam free, as always x

Is there anything so beautiful as a late Spring wedding in Cambridge?

The bridal party made their way on foot from the university arms in Cambridge, to the secluded secrets of the painted All Saints church.

A flood of dresses, top hats and tails under a confetti of blossom from the trees of the universities entered the church with cries from well wishers and the ding of bells from bikes.

A cascade of soft and elegant florals guided guests down the aisle to the steps of the alter, where N&L said their vows.

Soft creams, blush pinks and pops of dusty blue. Zesty lime greens with a delicate fluffiness. A floral palette that complimented the work of William Morris that adorned the walls of the church.

After the ceremony, as the party made their way once more through the streets of Cambridge in all their finery, we transitioned the florals to dress the university arms for the wedding breakfast.

Here, I bound blue spruce, eucalyptus, twigs, juniper berries & skimmia plants together onto a straw base. I wired in whole & sliced oranges, lavender bundles, cinnamon stacks & pine cones. Glorious textures & deliciously scented.

It’s been a busy but exciting season, many weddings flowered and roots being firmly planted in our little corner of Dry Drayton. My heart is full of gratitude as we wrap up the week with the penultimate wedding of the year and look ahead to the coming weeks of Christmas prep! It has been a joy working with such dear couples and meeting new customers coming through the doors of 🐝

We have been preparing space for who will joining us in December and you will be able to come and have a look at her new salon on our Christmas Shopping Evening / Launch night on Thursday 30th November! Come along for complimentary bubbles and 10% off in the shop 🥂
