🪇 INSTRUMENTS 🪇

This section of class is always so much fun 🎉 we have maracas, jingle bells, tambourines & more!

Choosing an instrument out of the basket builds confidence and it’s so interesting to see the babies pick the same ones each week. It soon becomes part of their Sing & Sign routine to help them feel safe and confident! 🎶

🌂 Our stage 2 classes are learning to sign the weather and seasons this week!

👒 Our little B loves using the sign for ‘hat’ hopefully we can start using that sign more in the next few weeks ☀️

Learning about the weather helps to expand your little ones observations and conversations. Look out of the window and what do you see… clouds, sun, rain, a rainbow? Keep talking about the world around you, your toddlers love learning all about it! 🧠

🐈‍⬛ WEEK 3

💚 Stage Ones are learning the ‘WHERE’ sign! This wonderful sign opens the doors to many interactions and games with your little one, like the fun of PEEK-A-BOO!

🙈 In class we love to play peek-a-boo behind our colourful scarves!
We also introduce our furry friend, Jessie Cat 🐾 this game helps babies experience anticipation, surprise and excitement when you and Jessie Cat suddenly appear!

🌈 Colours week 🌈

👧🏼 Our stage 2s have been signing and singing about colours 🎨 which is a fun and engaging way for toddlers to learn about the world around them. This helps them identify and differentiate colours while also enhancing their language skills through music and movement!

🐈‍⬛ JESSIE CAT LOVE 😻

🥰 It has been a great first week of our Spring Term! It has been lovely to meet our new families and catching up with our returning mums!

🍼 Stage 1 have been learning their all important eat sign this week, along our other week 1 core signs- drink, milk, more and all gone.

🥑🍌🍞🍓 Meanwhile our stage 2 babies have been learning lots of different food to help them with making choices!

✅ You will learn how to effectively communicate with your baby - in a FUN way! Believe me, you won't get the songs out of your head!🎵
✅ Each session is structured. A warm up, looking & listening, peekaboo, instruments, props and play.
✅ You will learn a new skill - signing! You never know, you may even want to take it further one day, and learn British Sign Language!
✅ You get a trained professional (me!😁) with 5 years of experience with Sing and Sign!
✅ We aren't "all things to all men" - you won't find lots of stuff/toys/sensory experiences in our classes. We are simply; 🎵Sing and Sign🎵 and proudly so! 🤗 You are your baby's favourite toy!
✅ AND we still enjoy a chat, play and cuppa at the end of class too!

If you are feeling ready to get out with your little one, Sing and Sign Babes is open for babies aimed between 1-6 months.

🎶 Join us for 10 weeks of classes featuring gentle music and rhythm with your pre-crawling baby, learn some great communication habits to enrich your relationship and start introducing some signs into your daily routines.
🤟🏼 It's ideal for those who are keen to start communicating with their baby before speech.

🙌🏼 At Sing and Sign we run 3 age appropriate classes, which are:

🤱 Babes
0 - 6 months
A lovely gentle approach to introduce the basic signs through music and songs.
🎶 We also show you lovely adaptations of familiar songs to enjoy with your baby while face to face, during nappy change, bathtime, bedtime and gentle play.

👶🏼 Stage 1
6 months - 14 months
Once your baby is sitting up and becoming more aware they will be ready to enjoy the music, the toys and props and social aspects of this class.

👧🏼 Stage 2
15 months - 2 years
If your baby is a little older, you may feel ready for a class with a little more action and activity! Even if you have never done Sing and Sign before, in our Stage 2 class we still include the basic advice on how to sign with your baby and have some lovely songs to enjoy. Covering concepts such as the weather, colours, being helpful, simple counting, opposites and even beginning phonetic awareness all enjoyed through our magic ingredient – music!
