Charlotte & Luke 27/07/2024

Goodnestone Park provided the perfect backdrop for this magnificent wedding earlier in the Summer, where happy couple- Charlotte and Luke were surrounded by family and friends on the happiest day of their lives.

“It was all we wished and planned for! It was perfect and we’d do it again tomorrow if we could.”

Charlotte absolutely dazzled in her Paloma Blanca dress- with a fitted crepe skirt, beautifully embellished bodice and a dramatic, eye catching open back. She looked absolutely gorgeous- bridal perfection.

We remember Charlottes visit to the boutique and the moment we pulled ‘the one’ from the rails, and all knew that this was THE DRESS!

“It was perfect! Carly knew what I wanted more than I did. My dress is absolutely stunning, it suited me and the venue perfectly.”

OUR DRESSES @ THE POTTING SHED LAUNCH.

As a GOLD SUPPLIER to the Secret Garden Kent we were super keen to be involved with the launch of their beautiful new bridal prep studio- The Potting Shed.

We were invited to bring along some of our dresses to feature in a photo shoot to unveil this additional space as part of their wedding day packages. Of course, we jumped at the chance to have our dresses included and photographed by the amazing Olegs & Rita Photography.

The beautiful Paloma Blanca dress worn by Imogen is a classic A-line in Faille satin, complete with leg-split to give a modern edge. This was paired with a full length pearly veil- for total minimalistic elegance and drama.

You will also spot 'Clara' by Zavana Couture hanging in the changing area- a dreamy soft tulle layered ballgown with an embellished bodice and plunge neckline.

Our dresses looked absolutely gorgeous in this brand new, welcoming and relaxing space.

The Potting Shed is a bright, open-plan space with two salon stations, LED mirrors and plenty of sockets for hair and make-up prep.

The space features a cosy seating area, along with a kitchenette offering a mini fridge for chilled Prosecco and a tea and coffee station.

But for us, the highlight of the Potting Shed is the bridal changing area, complete with an antique viewing mirror, ample hanging space for dresses and accessories, and a privacy curtain for a dramatic reveal. It's gorgeous!

This wonderful couple married earlier this Summer at The Bell Hotel in Sandwich, Kent at a small private ceremony with closest family members.

Layla wore a beautiful fit and flare Maggie Sottero Designs wedding dress and looked absolutely gorgeous. The dress has a lace bodice with exquisite beadwork, a low scoop back and a really gorgeous statement train- it suited the bride and venue perfectly.

“I had a picture of what I wanted and the first dress I tried on I got it! The whole experience at Chilham Bridal was magical- such a happy, intimate and fun experience.”

Layla and Tom carried on the celebrations with a big party with all their friends and family two days later at Three Hills in Folkestone.

This gorgeous couple hosted their wedding at Chapel House Estate - a spectacular venue in Minster, Kent which seamlessly blends historic allure, contemporary opulence and natural splendour. A dreamy spot for Nicole and Gary to enjoy their special day with loved ones.

Our beautiful Chilham Bride wore fitted French crepe ‘Harper’ dress by Made with Love and looked absolutely stunning. We paired her contemporary, minimal style dress with a silky soft full-length veil with scattered pearls.

The dress provided the perfect backdrop for Nicole's incredible bridal bouquet by Hidden Botanics LTD. Peach tones in the flowers, gold accessories and Gucci shoes gave a warm and summery feel to the brides look. Bridal perfection!

Karoly & Pete 31/08/2024

A beautiful, heartfelt elopement in Portugal.

Our gorgeous bride Karoly battled 25 miles per hour winds at the top of cliffs overlooking surfers’ paradise beach in Praia do Tonel. Whilst husband Pete- a wedding photographer, captured perfectly the beauty of his wife in the spectacular setting of unspoilt natural beauty.

It was also Pete’s birthday, so the couple started their magical day with a superb breakfast Laundry Lounge Sagres followed by a walk on the cliffs.

“After breakfast we went back to our apartment and started writing our vows. A quick lunch on the balcony, and the preparations began!
Pete left to go to the ceremony place - Praia do Tonel, whilst I got ready with make-up and hair. Our Belgian friend who we met the day before, helped me into my beautiful dress.
I then got taken to the beach where I found Pete gazing at the Ocean, watching the sun set.
We exchange our vows, exchanged rings and sealed the deal with a kiss.
We then took some time capturing ourselves on multiple locations, and finished the day in the town for cocktails and dinner. Easy.”

What an incredible day- we are so happy for you both!

This gorgeous couple held their summer wedding at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church in Saltwood for the ceremony, followed by Secret Garden Kent for the wedding reception.

Becky and Ben chose the beautiful Secret Garden Kent wedding venue as it fully allowed their vision of a relaxed affair, with lawn games, BBQ and garden party vibe to come to life.

Luckily, for the bride, groom and their guests this day was the only day that week without torrential week. Phew!

When Becky came into the boutique looking for her wedding dress it was important that it reflected the relaxed, informal vibe of her day and would be comfortable and easy to wear. No big trains, no heavy fabrics or heavily embellished dresses- for Becky it needed to be fuss free, feel good and be a joy to wear all day.

After trying several on, we found ‘the dress’- Made with Love, Rosie. She is very lightweight, beautifully cut- really contouring the body. The colour of the dress was latte, which really complimented the brides colouring. Modern, simplistic, chic- it was the perfect choice and Becky looked amazing.
