Welcome welcome,

December 9th is the time to showcase what the drum and bass society has to offer.

As Christmas is on the way, what better way to spend your Friday night than to get dressed up (or not, we're not going to judge too much) and listen to some local Cardiff DJ's spin the decks in what i can only describe as the worlds scattiest shed. Not only will there be DJ's throughout the night, there will also be a professional sound system and lighting, so if you missed out on boomtown this year, then no worries! This is the next best thing.

The timing of the party is TBA, as we're aiming not to p**s the neighbours off too much by vibrating their tv's and hot chocolates, however, if this does happen, then fortunately with the scatty shed does in fact come a house we can move into.

We're really excited that we've been able to make this happen, and we hope that with the interest already, that the free tickets we are putting out (linked at the bottom) will sell out, so please, don't buy a ticket if you're not going to turn up bcos that's just a bit of a ballache really ain't it.

Tickets will be on sale from 9am Sunday, we're treating this as a sort of 'Give It A Go' as it is our first proper event. So by all means, buy a ticket for yourself, your mate, your dad, or even your nan if she fancies going flying (our treasurer Shakobe will make sure no nans go flying)

On Sunday 13th Novemeber we will be supporting The Traffic DJ Society as they takeover Revolution Cardiff for a special event, raising money for Movember. Entry will be £3 or £3.50 for entry and a raffle ticket with the chance of winning a bottle of vodka! All proceedings will be donated to charity and you get a free shot upon entry if you show your society discount card which you recieve by being part of our society!

We will begin the night at Proud Mary's, as we have a deal with them allowing us free entry and drinks discounts. We will meet there at 9pm, have a few drinks and then onto Revs later on to support Traffic as their very own DJ's will be shutting the place down with DnB, reggae, garage, house and techno tunes.

Spread the word and get as many down as possible, its gonna be a big one.

Hi guys, Walkabout are offering the chance for DJ's to play in their brand new DnB room tonight!

Late notice I know, however a really good opportunity for anyone here who is confident enough on the decks to give it a go at a proper venue, expecting Walkabout to be very busy tonight as well as it's halloween.
