We do this through hands on activities and experiments that drive us to ask more questions while exploring all aspects of science! ll explore chemical reactions with lots of bangs and explosions, get messy in our slime tank and many other hair raising activities. We'll entertain your budding scientists to ensure they have the best party ever!! Workshops - Weather you're a school, a festival, a holiday club, an after school club or a cafe, we can provide workshops to suit every need. In this delicious workshop we will use scientific equipment and techniques to create our own sweets including super sour sherbet and glow in the dark jelly worms! Every experiment is edible! Our favourite time of year is fast approaching where we celebrate British Science Week and World Book Day πŸ§‘β€πŸ”¬πŸ”¬πŸ”­πŸš€

The theme for British Science Week this year is Change & Adapt. We've created a special workshop to celebrate adaptations to extreme environments and explores the challenges animals face in our changing climate.

You'll be spoilt for choice with our Charlie & the Chocolate Factory themed Science of Sweets workshop, our Harry Potter themed ExperiMENTAL Potions workshop and we explore the science behind your favourite superheroes with our Superhero Science workshop! Perfect for World Book Day celebrations πŸŽ‰

We can help schools celebrate these important events whilst engaging the children with hands on activities that foster analytical thinking and problem solving skills whilst thinking and working like scientists πŸ§‘β€πŸ”¬

Our February Home Ed sessions will be exploring the Science of Light

12th Feb 10am - Tawelfryn Community Centre, Nantgarw
19th Feb 10am - Bryntirion & Laleston Community Centre, Bridgend

Join us to explore the properties of light, including reflection, refraction and dispersion. We will use scientific ray boxes, mirrors and prisms to explore how light bounces off certain materials, how it bends through other materials and how we find rainbows in beams of light. We will then use our knowledge to create our very own kaleidoscopes to take home.
