Tor & Ali
Tor and I were in primary school together so it’s fair to say I was so excited to coordinate her special day. I was brought on board towards the end of the planning to relieve Tor and her bridesmaids of not only the wedding day duties but from them having to set up the day before.
Arriving early before the barn had opened, I set up the whole barn for over 100 guests before:
✨ welcoming the other suppliers,
✨ greeting guests,
✨ locating misplaced button holes,
✨ sorting a tie drama,
✨ begging the registrars not to leave when the Bridal party were *ever so slightly* running behind,
✨ relieving the bridesmaids of any duties,
✨ sorting an iPad over heating malfunction mid ceremony,
✨ adapting to changes in the table plan post ceremony,
✨ overseeing complex dietary requirements,
✨ lighting every single candle,
✨ extinguishing a waiters hair on fire 🫣
✨ keeping Tors bag safe all day,
✨ ensuring Tor & Ali were well fed & watered (and topped up with sun cream!) all day,
✨ handing out left over Welsh cakes throughout the evening,
✨ ensuring there was music playing throughout the venue all day,
✨ setting up the champagne tower,
✨ managing a champagne spray,
✨ a casual trip up the mountain for golden hour pics,
✨ keeping the dance floor alight and busy all night
✨ living my best life singing along with to Sean Paul 💃🏼
WHAT A DAY! 🥂 8.30am - 12am with a 4 hour round trip on top and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m so lucky to be a party of someone’s wedding day, even more so when it’s someone i’ve known for over 20 years. Thank you Tor & Ali for trusting me with your big day.
