Back in September we headed to the beautiful Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe to cover Meg & Chris’ wedding day. We were super lucky with the weather and the families embraced us like one of their own!
After getting ready at the beautiful accommodation just a stones throw from the ceremony site, Meg & Chis tied the know outside over looking the ocean surrounded by their nearest and dearest. After the ceremony we took the short walk down just a few steps to the beach and took some of our favourite footage of the entire year <3

Georgie & Sam // Cowbridge

We had the pleasure of spending Saturday with the gorgeous Georgie and Sam. Clearly not scared of a challenge, this life affirming couple planned a rustic DIY wedding on Georgie’s brothers farm, surrounded by fields, cows and tranquility.
A quick check of the weather forecast didn’t make for pleasant reading, so armed with a can-do attitude and a brolly in the boot, the team set off to Cowbridge for bridal prep.
After a memorable morning filled with smiles, laughter and nervous excitement we made our way to St Tydfil’s Church near Llantwit Major. Rocking up in a classic VW camper van, the clear skies finally gave way to one of the day’s many down pours. Was this going to dampen spirits? Hell no! It was going to take more than that to wipe the smile of Georgie’s face.
The ceremony was packed with emotion, much of which being provided by the brilliantly charming vicar, some lovely readings and a beautiful vocal performance that bought the church to tears! The reception venue that awaited Sam and Georgie’s guests certainly had the wow factor.
A pathway lined by lights and sunflowers led the way into a stunning marquee filled with handmade decor and details. Everything about the set up lent itself to a wonderfully relaxed and super fun atmosphere as friends and family came together to party and celebrate this most warm and friendly of couples. It’s not just in the video footage where the love Georgie and Sam have for each other shines through.
With the night encroaching, a jazz band in full swing and the dance floor shaking, this was definitely one wedding we were sorry to leave! Wishing you a life time of happiness guys, you should be so proud of the day you pulled off!

Preena & Taj // Warren Weir
At Ryan Welch we love stepping out of our comfort zone and taking on exciting challenges. Having not photographed an Indian wedding in ages, when Preena & Taj asked us to document their big day, we jumped at the opportunity! At the crack of dawn and after a quick coffee stop, the boys packed the car and took to the M4 and the beautiful Warren Weir estate in Luton.
The team were greeted by a jam packed day full of excitement, tradition and colour. It’s fair to say that this wedding didn’t fail to live up to expectations! A vibrant environment was created by the huge effort everyone undertook to dress immaculately, and after only minutes in the warm company of Preena & Taj’s family and friends, we all felt like guests. The team were treated throughout the day to some amazing food, and got to witness a stunning ceremony which contained a level of detail, planning and symbolism which blew us away. Talking of planning, toast master Django set new standards in ensuring the day went smoothly, on time, and that every guest was well informed and enjoyed themselves. Honestly, having someone this professional yet fun and friendly conducting a wedding makes our lives so much easier, and allows us to simply concentrate on what we do best.
The evening entertainment will stay in our minds and hearts forever. It was a moving experience to view every single guest so full of energy and love for this amazing couple. The dancing was so much fun, and after removing our own somewhat less impressive dance moves from the footage, the photographs and video encapsulated the most memorable of wedding days.

Emily & Aaron // Pencoed House
Emily & Aaron got married at the ever beautiful Pencoed House, a favourite venue of mine to film at, with its stunning stone architecture and secluded gardens. The morning started with one of the most chilled out bridal preparations, with numerous bottles of fizz consumed whilst laughs and good times were shared between the girls.
Emily & Aaron's planning and organisational skills helped turn Pencoed house into an awesome spectacle, and Aaron’s choice of barbecue food was a definite winner with the guests (and ourselves!).
Amazing venue, amazing people and amazing memories. This was a wedding I won’t forget anytime soon. Thanks for having us guys.
P.s. I think little Harry won the award for best dressed!

Joanne & Oliver // Hensol Castle
Under blue skies and gentle May sunshine, Jo and Ollie invited the RWP team to document their Star Wars themed wedding day. Naturally only May 4th was a suitable date for this couple to get hitched, and with the ever stunning Hensol Castle providing a dramatic backdrop to the occasion, the stage was set for a brilliant day. Acting like naturals in front of the camera and with tons of laughter along the way, Jo and Ollie were so easy to work with, allowing us to capture some great memories from an unforgettable day. The force is definitely strong with these two!

Everyone had an amazing time photographing the beautiful Abigail’s first cake smash! After a tentative start where she was more interested in eating the confetti, she quickly got stuck into the cake and made an impressive mess!
