Merry Christmas from Blush … here’s to all my lovely customers … I appreciate every last one of you and thank you for asking us to create floral magic for you we have loved every minute of 2024 and the last 15 years and look forward to 2025 floralling … but in the meantime we have downed our secateurs until January ( except to build our own festive floral tablescape and table installation for Christmas dinner - it’s olive branches white heather and homemade paper snowflakes courtesy of my babies hard work …) meanwhile …Happy Christmas and here’s looking at you kid is calling

End of an era … Betty the piano needs a new home. I have had so much joy from playing her and listening to her being played and painting her in a happy colour and covering her in flowers from time to time💛 I bought her at auction as a valentines present to myself for the princely sum of £11 ( the paints cost me more than the piano ) and she has been through alot with us in the last few years and made me so happy - if anyone wants a happy piano in their life - she’s a bit of a wreck but she’s still gorgeous I have to finally admit she deserves better than being a hall table … DM me and rehome Betty

Can’t fault a lobster pot 🦞 paired with roses definitely want this peachy rose in my garden especially as it supports such a fantastic charity .. life goals is having a rose with my name ( please rose breeders take note: I would like a highly fragrant prolific chaotic rambler as my namesake - thank you )

It’s a wrap… one or two more deliveries of Christmassy floral joy tomorrow and I’m done … I’ve left the wreath making table up because I love it so much … looked across and took this snap without properly tidying so I realise it’s not insta perfect but it’s as close as it will get because school holiday Christmas carnage is incoming … I couldn’t be more grateful for this magical hybrid home workspace and I took this picture pinching myself about what this space looked like a couple of Christmases back when we moved in with no heat or hot water and no kitchen. It’s been a journey. Sometimes it’s easy to just see the mess and unfinished bits but I want to focus on the twinkly lights and the joyful home we will be celebrating Christmas in this year …
