A colourful indoor market full of the best local artists, designers and makers. Currently based at Chapter Arts Centre.

Its the PrintHaus Market, But its not just a market its an arena for makers and creative people to gather and sell their wares!! On the day there will be live screen printing allowing visitors to print the designs they want plus an array of stalls of the best local designer/ makers and small businesses. Come along and find something that inspires you!

To all of you! To everyone that braved the storm to visit us, to the amazing traders, all the workshop facilitators and the fab team at Chapter Arts- thank you! Every year we are blown away by the support you all show our event and this year was no exception. Maybe even more so due to the extreme weather.

Tom and I want to wish you all the best of Christmas’ and we can’t wait to do it all again next year!

‼️ News Alert!!‼️
Due to the storm our market start time is being delayed until 1pm - please spread the news far and wide. We want everyone to stay as safe as possible and not make unnecessary journeys during the crazy weather.

We will be running until 5pm now on both days to give you all a little extra time to shop with all our amazing makers.

🥁 Drumroll 🥁

We are very pleased to share this year’s designs for the *Have a go at printing a t-shirt * stand!!!

Very generously donated designs from local illustrators and artists to help raise some funds for the PrintHaus. This is one of the highlights of Snapped up and we love wearing the shirts (not just for Christmas)

If you’ve not joined us before then let me explain- you get to pick one of the tshirt designs and a shirt of your choice (we have many colours and sizes to choose from) and then our on hand experts will guide you through the process of screen printing it. You get the joy of having a sweet new top and learning a new skill too! Bonus!

Nigel will be bringing out the letterpress for all your personalised notebook needs next weekend - we cant wait to stock up and they make the best gifts too! Plus Nigel is an absolute legend and is a master as what he does. Make sure you check out his stall over in the main foyer as well as all the others in the Stwdio space!

✨🌟Just over a week to go!🌟✨
We can’t believe how quick November has whipped by and now we’re into the home straight of organising this grand event for you all! There is so much going on behind the scenes this week with flyers being delivered, decor being made and table layouts being organised but we thought we’d take a moment to stop and look at some of the beautiful ceramics that will be for sale on the 7/8th. Honestly I know I keep saying it but the talent is so strong this year- you’re going to be spoilt for choice for wonderful gifts- make sure you head down early not to miss out ✨

Last year sold out on day 1. Their hot honey was the treat of the market and we are very excited to have them back again this December. Making every dish you can think of a little tastier, we are looking forward to stocking up our pantry with this sweet but hot hot hot sauce! (They’ve also promised to bring a lot more stock so hopefully plenty to go round!)

One of our favourite types of stalls to have at the market is those that promote getting other people creative! definitely brings that energy. Creating diy craft kits where you can decorate pre printed fabric you can while away the gloomy evenings this winter with a new hobby. Easy but thoughtful gifting ideas for this Christmas 🎄 Definitely a stall not to miss this year

We’ve got a brand new activity we’ll be hosting this year to share with you!!! The delight that is Natalie from is bringing her hot foiling machine with her so you can all have a go at creating these delectable bilingual Christmas cards. If you were at this year you may have had a glimpse of the magical machine in action then but new to Snapped up we have a brand new design and you can choose from a selection of coloured cards and foils. Nat will also have her beautiful selection of stationery including Christmas wrapping paper to finish all the gifts you’ll be picking up.

It’s just over a month until we open doors on our favourite event of the year. We’ve got a whole host of incredible makers to share with you (it’s been an extremely tough job curating the line up as the standard of applications has been so high but we’re very proud of the stellar line up we’ve pulled together) We also have expanded our hands on stalls where you can get involved in screen printing t-shirts, letter pressing notebooks, creating Christmas jumpers and even wreath making. Get the dates in your diaries- it’s not one to miss!
