Its the PrintHaus Market, But its not just a market its an arena for makers and creative people to gather and sell their wares!! On the day there will be live screen printing allowing visitors to print the designs they want plus an array of stalls of the best local designer/ makers and small businesses. Come along and find something that inspires you!

We’ve got a brand new activity we’ll be hosting this year to share with you!!! The delight that is Natalie from is bringing her hot foiling machine with her so you can all have a go at creating these delectable bilingual Christmas cards. If you were at this year you may have had a glimpse of the magical machine in action then but new to Snapped up we have a brand new design and you can choose from a selection of coloured cards and foils. Nat will also have her beautiful selection of stationery including Christmas wrapping paper to finish all the gifts you’ll be picking up.

It’s just over a month until we open doors on our favourite event of the year. We’ve got a whole host of incredible makers to share with you (it’s been an extremely tough job curating the line up as the standard of applications has been so high but we’re very proud of the stellar line up we’ve pulled together) We also have expanded our hands on stalls where you can get involved in screen printing t-shirts, letter pressing notebooks, creating Christmas jumpers and even wreath making. Get the dates in your diaries- it’s not one to miss!

Massive thank you to everyone that applied to our market! Applications are now closed- we’ll be going through everyone’s submissions this week and will let you all know ASAP. I can already tell it’s gonna be a tough decision- you folks are all amazing 🤩

For those looking to apply to Snapped up here are some FAQs answered for you
▪️Snapped up Market is run by Helen and Tom- from the PrintHaus. It started 14 years ago in our old studios and has grown as we moved to Chapter Arts.
▪️We provide tables and chairs but if you have your own structure just let us know.
▪️We are a makers only event- so no resellers or vintage. Our market is here to showcase the best artists and makers we can find.
▪️We are disability friendly and have accessible spaces for those who need it.
▪️We only take applications for the whole weekend not single days. This is not our only jobs and the admin is already sky high 🤪 but honestly we would feel awful if one day was busier than the other so this gives everyone a fair chance at food sales.
▪️ You are more than welcome to share a table with a friend but you need to apply together as a collective. Just explain it all in the extra details section.
▪️ We currently only run 1 market a year - we do however also run Printed Festival in the summer time which is also held at Chapter Arts (which you should definitely also come to)
▪️You don’t have to be a seasoned professional to apply- we most definitely want to hear from 1st time applicants just make sure your photographs showcase your work to a high standard as competition for space is high.
▪️You have until the 22nd Sept to get your applications in- we can’t wait to hear from you!

Oh hi friends!
Thought it was about time to share the news- we will be returning again this December for our annual festive market. Make sure you stick the date in your diary- 7&8th December at Chapter Arts in Cardiff.
Applications will be opening in September for stalls so keep your eyes peeled for more info soon.

Everyone’s favourite local linocutter aka Jamie Richards will be back again this year with his bold and brilliant collection of prints. Super eye catching style with a retro vibe, we absolutely love his work. Jamie has also been working with PrintHaus these past few months to hone his screen printing skills so you might even find some special new pieces on his stall next week.

We were looking to add a few different types of small businesses to the line up this year and one of those is the beautiful
Amy creates dried bouquets and buttonholes as well as hair flowers and wreaths. Sprig Studio offers a more sustainable alternative to the fast fresh flower industry and she does everything she can to reduce waste and pollution. All packaging is recyclable, as much of each product as possible is used (leaves and stems included) flowers that are a mix of homegrown and UK-sourced dried flowers free from harmful chemicals or artificial materials. Such a great ethos to share with you all. Be sure to check out her stall

New to Snapped Up this year are Lil Titsy sharing their inspiring and motivational t-shirts. Full of fun and their unique brand of 'big t**s energy' they definitely spread huge amounts of positivity and empowerment. They'll be bringing original prints and t-shirts - great gifts for your loved ones this year!

Oh hello new poster!

Each year we get an amazing local illustrator/designer to create a poster for the market. This year the brilliant has created this triumph featuring a rather fantastic Mari Lwyd. Rhi will also be joining us at the market selling her prints and illustrations so you’re in for a right treat!

All our stall holders have now been confirmed so the countdown is on!

UPDATE- Applications are now closed and we are working through the huge volume of amazing creative people that have applied. It’s taking a little longer than first anticipated but Tom and I are sitting down tomorrow to finalise the numbers. Emails will be landing in your inboxes mid week. Also as a heads up, please don’t be too disappointed if you don’t make the cut this year- we‘ve had over 3x the number of applications than we have stalls 😅🙈

Nice one everybody! To say we’ve been overwhelmed with applications this year is an understatement. We have now closed the books for this year and will spend the next week working out who goes where! So keep an eye on your inboxes beginning of next week for updates from us. Thanks again to everyone for making this decision super tough for us - all your work is incredible, I can already tell this year is going to be the best market yet.
