My final bride of 2024 - topping off an incredible year, and an extra special one for me as I met Nia a few years back when I did her make up when she was bridesmaid at her friends wedding.

It always feels like a full circle moment for me when someone comes back to me to ask me to do their bridal make up when it’s their own big day. It’s the ultimate compliment ✨

We had such a chilled morning getting Nia and her bridal party ready - proper cosy Christmas vibes. Thank you for asking me to be part of your special day Nia. It was a pleasure ♥️

Make Up Artist of the Year 2024 ✨

I am thrilled to announce that last night I was chosen as the recipient of the Make Up Artist of the Year Award at the Awards. I am totally blown away and still in shock at being selected for this award let alone winning. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend this wonderful event, but I’m still very grateful for receiving the award.

A huge thank you to for selecting me as the winner and to director for selecting me as a nominee, I’m truly humbled.

And of course the biggest thank to all of you who have made all of my career possible by continuing to support me, book me and work with me. Without you … this amazing job of mine wouldn’t be possible. And last but not least, for those closest to me who champion me in everything I continue to do with my career… thank you. Cariad Mawr ♥️

Contrast me up a notch. I’m a huge lover of adjusting levels of colour and contrast to compliment skin tone, hair and eye colour. Colour knowledge is a huge attribute to a make up artist … and yet sometimes I forget that as a human… that applies to me too. So in the interest of playing around with colour and style … copper, ya got me! 🤪

In July, I venture to Leominster where I was welcomed back by the beautiful Martha and her family. I had previously met Martha and family two years ago when I worked on her sister Harriet’s wedding. What was lovely about this wedding too, was that I got to work with the same great team of suppliers that I had worked with two years previously. The Harries’ are such a warm and welcoming family, and you can see from the photos that Martha has quite the zest for life and fun! The party began at bridal prep and judging by the footage I’ve seen since … didn’t stop all day!

It was a pleasure to create this gorgeous look for Martha’s bridal make up, and so lovely to be welcomed back by the family to share in another special day. ♥️

Thought I’d come and say hello and re introduce myself as I have quite a lot of new followers here.
Also because I was playing around with a few new products today and ended up creating a very bridal make up look on myself.

If you’re new here - I’m Kirsty, and have been a make up artist for 19 years. Ive worked on everything from London Fashion Week, Magazine Shoots, been featured in Vogue, TV work, Fashion & Beauty Editorials, Brand work and so much more. But bridal and beauty make up has always had my heart.

I’ve been a Bridal Make Up Artist for 15 of those years and have worked of upwards of 1000 weddings. That’s one heck of a lot of gorgeous brides and bridesmaids, Mum’s and special women in your life.

I love my job, making others feel good about themselves and boosting their confidence is something I feel privileged to be able to do, and when I get to do the final reveal when I’ve completed a make up look, it’s so rewarding knowing that you’ve been that little part of someone’s day that actually turns out to be a pretty huge deal for them and how confident and great they feel for the rest of that day and beyond. You can’t put a price on how good it feels to make someone else feel good. That stuff is gold. ✨

Such a please to work on the wonderful Sophie & Steve’s wedding at Santffraed House back in June. Sophie’s styling was so elegant and effortless with that gorgeous pop of colour from her stunning bouquet … just dreamy. Sophie runs her own wedding stationery business so I knew this wedding was going to have some supreme touches of style and attention to detail.

She chose a relaxed hair and make up style opting for soft neutrals and fresh glowy skin to compliment her beautiful satin dress.
