dj and promoter, Double A Sides has been a staple in the south Wales drum and bass scene for a minute, and recently announced he is the man behind bringing the almighty back, we knew it would be perfect to have him headline an illuminate night!

With a huge library and knowledge of all things drum and bass, and impecible mixing, Aaron is sure to bring you on an absolute journey through liquid drum and bass.

We couldn't be more excited to hear this set alongside .bluejay tonight. It's gonna be one for the books!

Bristol-based MC Bluejay has been a staple on the circuit for over 10 years. He has worked with the majority of the city's most influential promoters and played to crowds in its most prestigious nightclubs and venues.

One of our hosts tonight is the one and only Enbe! One of the most recognizable mcs in South Wales, Enbe brings his unique style and lyrical genius to bring everyone on a trip!

First on our artist spotlight, we have .dnb

Bouchy caught our attention when he entered our DJ competition in April 2024. His entry it made it very difficult for us to choose a winner. He absolutely smashed it, and because of this, we had to get him on our next set!

We recently caught Bouchy’s set at where he tore up the dance floor with his sick selecky of liquid, minimal and jungle. Alongside this, he has recently become a resident for .

We can’t wait to see what he brings to the dance floor this Friday at !

Illuminate presents: A liquid journey with Double A Side & Mc Bluejay!

With our first event being such a success, it would only be right to return to for another night of liquid goodness!

This time, we have Double A Side and Mc Bluejay, taking us on a journey through all things liquid.

Alongside them are some of Cardiff's finest soulful selectors, and talented Mcs who are sure to bring the vibes all night!

HERE IT IS!

Finally, our first event is on its way!

June 8th, Bunkhouse and bar Cardiff

It was only right to get the locals to kick things off for the first event! And of course, we had to get one of the finest liquid producers in cardiff alkalisounds to headline! Not only are his productions prestine and absolute vibes, but his sets are too.
