All Residential Catered Students - Cyncoed Campus - Welcome Back !

We hope you have a had a great Easter Break and are ready for the new term.

Your first Catered meal for this term will be an evening Meal on Sunday 27th of April from 4pm - 6pm
Your usual Catering meal times will then resume from Monday.

Changes to the Met Rewards Scheme

In response to feedback from both staff and students about the cost of food and time spent queueing, we’re making changes to our catering outlets which will save you both time and money.
From 28 April, cheaper hot meals, breakfast items and premium coffee will replace the Met Rewards loyalty scheme.
The price of all Starbucks and Costa hot drinks will be reduced by 5%.
The price of all Hot meals and breakfast items will reduce by 10%
What about my points and free hot drinks?
We’ll stop offering points and free coffees on Friday 25 April, but don’t worry, you can spend your accrued points up until 31 July 2025
Please note the Met Rewards app will still be used to obtain meals at the till for all residential, Study First and bursary package students.
Don’t forget to use your reusables when purchasing food and drink to get a 10% discount on the sale.

Our Story

Cardiff Met Catering

A collection of six catering venues located across the Cyncoed & Llandaff campus at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Catering facilities on the Cyncoed campus.

On the Cyncoed campus is the main K1 restaurant servicing the residentail students that live in the halls of accomidation.

The Bench is situated by the popular sports facilities on Cyncoed Campus. It’s a contemporary outlet offering freshly brewed coffees and other hot and cold drinks, along with a fantastic range of hot and cold snacks including the acclaimed Bench Baguette and a variety of luxury cakes for an indulgent treat.

The Track cafe is located in the NIAC arena at the Cyncoed campus serving the high street favourite Costa Coffee.

Catering facilities on the Llandaff Campus

The Box is the place to meet on the first floor of the new CSAD building. The café will provide as selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwich and snack options.

The Gallery is situated on the first floor of A block just above the i-zone! It provides freshly brewed coffees and other hot and cold drinks, along with a fantastic range of hot and cold snacks and a variety of luxurious cakes for an indulgent treat.

The Atrium is the focal point of the new Cardiff School Of Management building. This contemporary facility offers a wide range of hot and cold food options and as well as the high street favourite Costa coffee.
