Back in May we held our very first fundraising event in memory of our colleague Lucien, by all coming together we raised over Β£5,000 which was donated to Cancer52 and ThymicUK π§‘π
We are delighted to let you all know about a new initiative Cancer52 have been working on since receiving our donation.
A video which showcases some of the best projects and learning to come out of the pandemic and show how this may shape and improve workstreams, either now or in the future.
They had two key aims in producing this video:
1. To give Cancer52 a powerful advocacy tool to showcase the work of this sector. They need more recognition of the work of their charities
2. To give member charities some video footage of their own work that can be used in their outreach to promote their own charity
We are very much looking forward to our next fundraising event where we will continue to show our support for these two great charities!!
