We are excited to announce that Shao Dow will be joining us for Cardiff Anime & Gaming Con 20234 this April 13-14th 2024 (make sure to get your tickets at www.cardiffanimecon.com).

Shao Dow is an award winning rapper, manga author and occasional ninja. He makes anime and gaming inspired music and raps in both English and Japanese.

After studying Shaolin Kung Fu with the monks whilst living in China, he utilised the tenacity and determination learnt from his martial arts training to independently forge his music career.

Difficult to define as just a regular artist, he constantly blurs the lines between anime, gaming, martial arts and his own music and has worked with icons such as Sean Schemmel (the voice of Goku - Dragon Ball Z) and featured on the first single from Tech N9ne’s ‘Asin9ne’ album.

Shao created ’The Way of Shao Manga’, an original manga series set in a world where musicians have special abilities that grow as their fanbase increases.

Shao Dow also works on the soundtrack for the popular 'Shaggy Ball Z vs One Jump Man' animated series with Mashed, wrote ‘BOY’ a God of War inspired track that was used by Sony Santa Monica and Playstation for the God of War Ragnarök 1 year anniversary celebration and wrote the song ’Thunder Roll’ for the game Fortnite.

This year he will be embarking on his first official tour in Japan, 'The Genki Dama Japan Tour’.

Brian Beacock is an camera and voice actor, writer, producer and musician from the San Francisco Bay Area who’s diverse career includes voice-overs for more than 50 cartoon series and video games including “Digimon,” Monokuma in the “Danganronpa” game seres, Akutagawa in “Bungo Stray Dogs” and “Bungo Stray Dogs Wan,” “Naruto,” “Bleach,” “Durarara,” , “Doreamon,” “Blue Exorcist,” “Code Geass,” “Blue Dragon,” “Battle B-Daman,” “Toradora,” “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”, “Tales of Symphonia,” “Dragon Ball Super,” “Sailor Moon”, “Bestars”, “Sword Art Online Alicization”, and more.

Matilda is best known for her work as a voice actress, starting her career as early as the age of 6 in Swedish film and television. She was propelled into the spotlight for her work as the original voice of Brigitte Lindholm, from the critically acclaimed video game Overwatch, published by Blizzard Entertainment, and has gone on to play Sweet Mayhem in the Lego Movie Videogame franchise.
