We are gradually re stocking the gardens with reclaimed decorative stone pieces as and when we find them. The really beautiful pieces are very few and far between. If anyone comes across and beautiful pieces, whether it be a statue, birdbath, sundial, planter etc then feel free to pop us a photograph through.

We are closed September 6th, 7th and 8th due to a private event taking place in the grounds. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this closure. We will be open as normal up until Thursday 5th September and will open as normal from Monday 9th September

Cafe open 10-4pm today. The wild flower meadow is starting to bloom (FINALLY!) the dahlias are out and the roses are starting their second flush. We have lots of plans for this autumn in the grounds. 😊🌸🪻

Due to how many of you lovely people are coming to the cafe WE ARE HIRING AGAIN 😀. We are looking for a part time cafe assistant for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays 9-5pm for IMMEDIATE START. Customer service experience preferred. Please email [email protected]

We are very happy to say that the Cafe at Kirklinton Hall opened this week for coffees and cakes. We will be offering light lunches from next Monday (29th). Our opening hours are Sunday-Friday 10-4pm. We’d love to see everyone there. All cafe customers are welcome to have a wander round the grounds to see what we have been up to the past 18 months. If you would prefer not to stop in the cafe and would like a peak round grounds there is a small fee of £2.50.

It breaks my heart that kirklinton went from being the most beautiful, loved, well kept, family home in 1939 to the sad, broken derelict version of itself in the 1970’s. We will bring life back to Kirklinton one stone and one rose at a time.

This week is dedicated to pruning all roses we have on site. From ramblers to shrub roses. I couldn’t for the life of me tell you how many there are but considering there are 36 in the mid terrace alone it’s definitely going to take me all week to do.

We are very excited to be adding a Petal pole marquee to our spaces at Kirklinton from SUMMER 2023!!!!!

Along with many other aspects of the garden there will be a landscaped area made specially to house this beauty along with areas for outdoor seating and fire pits.
