Hi All
Sorry I've been a bit quiet on here lately, but been a bit busy getting ready and welcoming this little lady into the world, Nancy Elizabeth was born last Wednesday and the week has flown by.

Thank you for the enquires for Christmas and New Year I have had but this year I won't be working spending time with my little family.

Thank you for your support, hopefully be slowly coming back to work after a few months off.

Ceres Sheep stopped off in Carlisle for a quick lunch and to catch her taxi back to Hexham.

Shes been so busy she's going to hopefully have a quick nap on route before meeting up with her flock!!

Ceres Sheep enjoying her last few hours looking at Roman Stones and enjoying the dry weather before she gets her taxi back to Hexham to join the rest of the flock.

Shes been a very busy sheep meeting, hadrians wall walkers, school children, alpacas, cows, wool enthusiasts. She's leant new skills including baking, calf feeding, fishing and making felt.

We have very much enjoyed having her stay with us.

Today Ceres Sheep visited the Carlisle Roman Bathhouse dig at Carlisle Cricket Club
Mr Giecco, Wardell Armstrong,
showed her around.

She enjoyed learning about all things Roman.

And really hoped she would discover another Roman Stone Head!!!

Ceres Sheep headed down to the marsh the other day where a very kind walker took some pictures.

The salt marsh is where our sheep and lambs spend the summer, which gives the lamb a unique flavour when they head off to auction.

The marsh is part of the Solway Coast National Landscape and is home to alot of birds and wildlife.

Ceres Sheep headed off to visit Mary Brough this lunchtime a local sheep farmer to help get her girls ready for the auction tomorrow.

They get their faces washed, wool clipped and feet checked, it's a sheep's day of pampering.

It's a busy time of year for all sheep farmers some selling stock and others wanting to buy to add to their flocks ready for tupping time.

They say the early bird catches the worm so Ceres Sheep has been out early this morning looking out for birds down on Drumburgh Moss....She was complaining though as she hadn't seen any yet!!! And it was making her feel a bit of a Cuckoo!!!!

She had help from the Pony's that live down there, then headed off with to help feed the calves that are very much enjoying this September sun 🌞

Another busy day for Ceres Sheep today, she's been busy causing a stir in the kitchen at Amy's Farmhouse Bakes!
She wasn't much good at washing dishes but enjoyed helping.

Ceres Sheep has had a busy few days, she went to visit the children at Burgh by Sands School on Friday, she enjoyed telling them all about where wool comes from and a bit about things you can find in hedgerows!

Then yesterday she headed off to Caldbeck to go and visit at The Wool Clip she learnt all about promoting British Wool and traditional wool skills.
She very much enjoyed trying on some wool clothing and felt very much like a model!!!

Yesterday Ceres Sheep went to visit the lovely staff at Tynedale Farm she was even taste tasting the high energy Lickey buckets for our sheep, in all the excitement she forgot the gloves she was meant to pick up for the farm 🫣🤦🏻‍♀️

Look what the girls found trying to get in their stable at King Garth Alpacas. Ceres the sheep is on tour and dropped by 2 admire how soft and fine Alpaca fleeces are. If you book an experience visit in the next week, you might have the fun of meeting Ceres the Sheep as well.
