After graduating at the top of his class from the University of Tennessee in 1979, he joined IBM, where he played a pivotal role in numerous innovations. Among his most notable achievements is the invention of the color PC monitor in 1999, which revolutionized computer displays. Additionally, he contributed to the development of the first gigahertz processor, a breakthrough that enhanced computing speeds dramatically. Dean holds 20 patents, including three of IBM's original nine patents, highlighting his impact on the technology industry.

**BHM has come around again! It feels like just a blink and a sleep since last year!**

To kick off Black History Month through JMA Occasions, today we’re spotlighting **Garrett Augustus Morgan Sr.** (1877–1963). He was an American inventor, businessman, and community leader, best known for creating the three-way traffic light and a life-saving smoke hood used in rescue missions. Morgan also developed a chemical hair-straightening solution and founded the **G. A. Morgan Hair Refining Company**. He played a significant role in advancing the civic and political rights of African Americans, particularly in Cleveland, Ohio.

Hoping this is of use to someone… we were having a university reunion and unfortunately have had to cancel! However one of our ex students has booked a double room booked at the Ox hotel and it's paid for. They cannot get a refund or change days.

Would this be any good to someone going to Carlisle tommorow to stay tomorrow night?

Amazing! If in the Carlisle area defo want to get in touch with these guys and get your kids off to a flying start!!!!

We have had the absolute pleasure of working with some of Carlisle's top female talent this last 12 months. Whether it was a 1:1, 3:1, large group or with our grassroots teams. Each one dedicates themselves to the sport and works tirelessly to be in the position they're in.

We are super proud of the girls for making it to the top!! 💪⚽️

Some finding themselves signing for Newcastle United, Carlisle United Football Club or westmorland pdc/etc. Offers of Blackburn rovers too ❤️

Here's to the next 12 months of hard work, dedication but most of all enjoyment from it all.

Please share in pride, proud parents. You all deserve some praise too, without you they don't get to where they need to be.

Dear Younger ones!!!
So I need to breakdown the "Friend Code" for some of you, because clearly there's too many people going missing or getting killed.
This is how we "Old Schoolers" roll.

•Code 1: " We leave together... We stay together....We come back together. NO you're not leaving with some RANDOM strangers & NO I'm not leaving you at the party by yourself!

• Code 2 " Both of us can't be sh*t face drunk (neither of you should) , at least one person needs to be alert & aware of our surroundings!

•Code 3 " If you got to go to the bathroom or outside ." WE'RE ALL GOING TO THE DAMN BATHROOM AND OUTSIDE!!" Period!

•Code 4 " We don't accept drinks from strangers unless we're at the bar and watch the bartender pour".

• Code 5 " if I feel like you're too drunk to function , we're leaving the party early". (We'll fuss about you messing up the night later)

• Code 6 " if you just so happen to go missing. I will give you a maximum 15-30 mins to show up before I Shut the place down and we ALL are going to be looking for your ass!!! FOR REAL!!! Everybody else can call the police cause I ain't going home without you!

• Code 7 "If you're fighting it better be one on one, otherwise we all fighting"

• Code 8 and the golden rule, "The drop off person check in or everyone who drove checks in when getting home" If we don't hear from you, we coming to ya house
Because these generations got the Friend Code messed up! ! This is how we were raised...
Cause we need our sons and daughters and every other kid to know these rules!!!!
