Last week we (along with our sister company Cumbria Waste Group) held a couple of fundraising events (bake sales and a Christmas jumper/Odd socks day!) to raise money for our Group charity partner of the year Great North Air Ambulance Service . The short animation below gives a flavour of some of the events, and the amount raised from our colleagues is simply fabulous! From the beginning of the covid-19 outbreak, our cleaners have worked on the frontline in a wide range of settings including schools, businesses and healthcare settings ensuring they can continue delivering vital services.
We clean over 30 Cumberland Building Society sites across the county - here are a few photos from one of our most recent staff meetings (respecting social distancing regulations, of course). Well done to all of our amazing cleaning teams - you're doing a fantastic job. To quote Andrea, Office Services Manager at CBS:

Orian Property Services, Grange-over-Sands are definitely doing their bit to banish Blue Monday and promote a #BrighterCumbria today, having baked plenty of delicious cakes to go around, leaving lovely notes on desks and even gifting anonymous bars of chocolate.
Safe to say the team have achieved what they set out to by putting big smiles on plenty of faces!

It has been a very emotional day at Orian head office as our beloved Brenda steps down from her role as Foodservice Coordinator after 19 years!
We thought it only fitting to throw Brenda a surprise buffet and after plenty of tears and farewells, we are almost ready to accept that we won't be seeing as much of her brimming enthusiasm and huge smile.
The good news is Brenda won't be leaving us for good, as she takes up an exciting new role as Kitchen Team Leader at North Lakes School, Penrith. We're sure she will do a fantastic job and wish her all the best for the future.
Brenda - you have certainly left some big shoes to fill! 👏⭐😁

Macmillan Coffee Morning
Our West office loved taking part in the world's biggest coffee morning last week in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. 💪 The cakes and bakes that our Maryport office produced were all delicious and we're thrilled to reveal that a fantastic total of £171.71 was raised!
