The Yewtots Christmas Party will take place on Friday 13th December, 9-11.30am. We will have all the usual fun plus music and dancing. Santa will also be popping in to say hello! 🎅🎄 ❄️☃️

Call us dreamers but you just never know, we are reconfiguring our room and we would love a corner sofa as opposed to the separate pieces we have now.
If anyone is getting rid of a corner sofa by any chance, please get in touch. We would be so very grateful.

FREE DIGITAL INCLUSION SESSIONS

Our Coffee and Computer Sessions are designed for older people (although anyone can attend) who want to boost their confidence online. Whether you're a beginner or a regular internet user, these sessions are here to support you in getting the best out of the world of digital technology.

💻 Are you confident sending, receiving and replying to emails?
💻Do you know how to use WhatsApp?
💻 Do you know how to safely store your photos?
💻Do you know how to set up and use the NHS & My GP app on your phone/tablet?
💻 Do you worry about online scams?
💻Are you confident shopping online?
💻 Do you know what QR codes are?

Our first session on Monday 9th Sep between 11am-1pm will be a drop in session. Our expert Mike will be on hand to chat to you about your experiences and guide you through any queries you may have. You can use one of our tablets or bring along your own computer/ phone or tablet.

Our second session on Tuesday 23rd Sep between 10am-12pm will focus on Online Safety. Getting online can make things easier in many ways, but also comes with the risk of scams and fraud. Our safety workshop can give you tips on how to stay safe online, what to look out for and how to report scams.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will also be available to purchase.

Had a great day at Yewdale Community Centre with plenty of magic, balloons and glitter tattoos. There were stalls and a bouncy castle from Carlisle Castles. Hope everyone that came has had a great day and is already looking at booking their place at Yewdale's Halloween parties! 🥳🥳
