FAQ - Do I need a Planner?
π€I am good at planning, do I need someone involved?
No.
If you feel you have got this then great! A Wedding Planner doesn't want to be not needed. Its an awful feeling! Trying to look busy... urgh. π₯΄
BUT if you want someone to have your back while you plan (sounding board throughout or just someone to listen to your troubles and queries) or be there on the day to take the reins, then yes! Lean on a pro. π
Don't rely on guests to sort any worries... unless you want them to be stressed on that day that is?! (Bit mean but hey, each to their own!) Some guests will of course be awesome and take it in their stride. If you can find those ones and they don't mind, ask, quick!π
A Wedding Planner isn't there to take over. They are there to help you make the right decisions for your style, budget and situation. At WBA we don't take on full planning really, most of the time we focus on consistent support and being there for the event. This is what our clients need plus sometimes taking on the odd task or two.
βAsk yourself....
- Do I have the time and contacts to make this live up to the expectations in my head?
- Am I the kind of person to relax when hosting an event?
- Do I like to learn from my own mistakes or others?
- Do I thrive on perfection so struggle when things aren't going that way?
- Could I benefit from a friendly and experienced ear?
