The Grapes Hotel is situated in the heart of the historic town of Aspatria, associated with Saint Mungo and Saint Kentigern. The two public bar areas are very popular with locals and guests who enjoy a wide selection of local and national brewery products in lounges with open fires and low ceilings.There is also a separate pool room, function room and garden patio. Aspatria is also the ideal base

for exploring both the renown Lake District and the less well known Solway Coast with its industrial history. The local bus service linking Carlisle and Whitehaven is on the doorstep and the West Coast Railway has a local station within half a mile enabling trips along the edge of the Solway Firth to explore places like Ravenglass, Barrow and the Duddon Estuary.
