ECO-FRIENDLY THIS EARTH DAY 🌱🌍
With today being Earth Day, we wanted to give a shoutout to some of the ways the events we work with are tackling the impact they have on the environment!👇
1. BOOMTOWN are aiming to power the entire city with renewables, reusing old materials, providing easy sorting recycling facilities, reducing traffic and emissions with their shuttle system, hiring more teams to fight campsite waste, and offer an Eco Bond reward for leaving no trace of your mess in the campsite.
2. HAY FESTIVAL offer a reusable cup scheme, resulting in less plastic waste.
3. BOARDMASTERS have a ‘leave only footprints’ motto and encourage festival goers to collect a bag of rubbish to get their litter bond back, they organise beach cleans throughout and offer a shuttle bus reducing pollution.
Here at Streamline, we continue to invest in greener initiatives from on-site separation to user-friendly recycling points on site ♻️
Let’s all do our bit to ensure large scale events are sustainable for years to come!
