CHEF – ABERCRAVE, SWANSEA VALLEY
We are seeking an experienced chef to oversee a busy kitchen in a pub/restaurant as part of a team with background of leading a service.
Duties will include:
• Cooking guests' orders according to their preferences
• Selecting choice ingredients that will give dishes the best flavour
• Supervision of all food preparation and presentation to ensure food safety standards – ensuring all kitchen staff so the same
• Managing food and product ordering by keeping detailed records, to help minimise waste

• Working quickly and accurately during busy periods and occasionally take on extra duties, such as cleaning, when the kitchen is short-staffed

Experience/Qualifications
Five years previous experience as a Chef. Excellent leadership and organisational skills. Be flexible and adaptable to work. Hold necessary food hygiene certificates.
Additional Information
Initially a temporary position which could lead to full time for the right candidate. £13.50 per working 45 hours on a 5 day rota. More hours may be available. Accommodation available if required. Must possess your own UTR number and necessary paperwork confirming eligibility to work in the UK.
