A few from the holiday lodge / wedding catering last week. Events like this take months of planning, lots of preparation and are topped with an intense week of cooking. It’s all worth it to be able to add to my clients’ special memories. 🤘😊🤘

The first catering I’ve done after a month of travelling was a buffet in Bunloit estate, for Highlands Rewilding event.
It’s a privilege to be able to work for these guys and admire the job they do.

I catered for a pet photography retreat by Woofventure Retreats. It was a brilliant week, made better by the fact that it took place at Muchrach Lodge in Dulnain Bridge- what a treat to be able to cook at this place!

Almost gone now; spring greens (wild garlic, mint, cow parsley and ground elder) make for an amazing chimichurri. My favourite with lamb.🤘😋🤘

A couple of new lovely reviews from a group of Utah ladies I cooked for last week. They wanted to try all the true Scottish flavours, so the week was filled with haggis, cranachan, venison, slow roasted lamb, smoked salmon, Cullen skink, wild mushroom, freshly foraged greens and herbal tea. 🤘🏴 🤘

Boeuf bourguignon is my favourite comfort food. There’s something about this tender beef stew cooked slowly in red wine that just hits the spot after an intense ski day.😊
Served with purple dauphinois potatoes for an extra bit of colour.

It’s been a while since the last post. Life kind of got in the way. But I’m still, relentlessly making the munchies.
I’m currently cooking up a storm in an Austrian chalet in beautiful L**h.

That’s the last of this year’s Xmas hampers posted / delivered. It got quite hamper- busy this time around. I’m not reaaally taking any more orders unless it’s for a local delivery and you’re in “omg, I forgot about auntie Gemma’s present” kind of situation. 🤘😁🎄
Fiona’s Wholefoods & Refills’ festive supper has been and gone and I thoroughly enjoyed cooking for this event. The café was full of festive cheer and great ambiance.
We’ve had 26 guests try a multi-course, made from scratch menu with venison wellington as a star of the show. They also enjoyed juniper and seaweed focaccia, beetroot consommé, mulled wine sorbet, winter spice crème brûlée and many other dishes with vegan options included.
Two fiddlers accompanied this candle lit dinner.
I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
Many thanks to Fiona and her team for creating a warm, relaxed vibe and -as always- to Balliefurth Farm Shop, Pro Fish Services Ltd Aviemore and The Cheese neuk in Kingussie for proving top notch ingredients for the meal.

I like to welcome the guests with some of the best the islands have to offer: a selection of smoked fish accompanied with homemade focaccia, Demijohn oils and vinegar and caper sour cream. 🤘😊🤘

This is your heavy metal snow report: it’s absolutely awesome! 😍I didn’t think there will be so much to ski on, but the conditions turned out pretty great. Normally, I prepare meals at clients’ lodges; but ordering pre-prepped food you can re-heat yourself is also an option. Here’s a packed up dinner for a couples’ elopement I just delivered to a stunning west coast location. Nothing to do now, but put a hood up and enjoy the rain. I’m off to the woods!🤘😄🌧🤘
