What a day of absolute fun and laughter with Carol & Aaron! 16 years together and finally the big lad got the wallet out and gave his girl a day to remember and it was just perfect!

Treated by royalty as always by Heather & Tom and their incredible team at in whitehead. Always one of my favourite places to capture a wedding, if you have never been there where have you been? It’s awesome!

I love when I get the chance to play with light and create something different at a wedding. It doesn’t always happen but when it does it hits different. Just because it’s raining on your wedding shouldn’t mean that you don’t get awesome creative pictures.

These two legends are currently on a cruise ship somewhere but spent the past week in the USA living their best lives, driving the open road in convertible Mustangs like two ballers, so thought it was fitting to tip the hat to the Americans with a little red white n blue silhouette (two lights, red gel, blue gel, white wall BOOM)

Hope you’re having a ball guys! You sure know how to plan a wedding, it was epic!

Sarah & Darren tied the knot and danced the night away at with everyone who meant the world to them. I don’t think I have laughed so much in a while, the banter was 100 for sure!

Bound to be a few sore heads this morning and I’d say the bar man is booking a fortnight in Spain!

A wedding scene that my eyes will never get tired of seeing, still blows my mind that images I create on weddings will outlast me, passed down through the generations.

Makes you think about life doesn’t it? What impact and mark are you leaving on the world and what legacy are you leaving. I for one feel immensely proud to get to do what I do!

Photography is all about creating images that I myself love, images that inspire me as a photographer, being true to myself and what inspires me. Clients who see my work and fall in love with what I create, that’s my client.

These images were created on our Rise Photography Retreat this year when we took 16 wedding photographers away for two days to inspire them, plug them into a bigger community and remind them that they are not alone in the world of running your own photography business. I guess I underestimated how much I actually needed them maybe more than they needed me given the difficult year I’ve had with my dad’s cancer journey. Being there for each other during the good times and the hard times is what it’s all about.

It’s really no secret how much I love shooting weddings at Bellingham Castle! Every single wedding I have shot there just left me feeling full of happiness and gratitude! There is something about weddings here that just makes me never want to leave! This wedding was no exception! What an incredible couple, mad about each other and both carrying a heart of gold each!
