Ready for A Very Carterton Christmas celebration that’s not just merry, but green and sustainable❓️

This Christmas, let’s show how small green actions, coming together, will add up to amazing environmental wins. We encourage you to consider these simple yet effective practices. If possible, you please
♻️ Bring your water bottle to refill it at our water station
♻️ Pack a food container and coffee cup for your food and drink orders

It may seem small, but if 100 of us make that choice, we could save a significant amount of plastic packaging. Reusables are always better than recyclables!

As you might come across the waste stations, feel free to say hi to our waste champions from Precycle NZ . They're happy to answer any questions about waste sorting and will make it easier than ever for you to apply not just now, but also in the future.

Let’s make A Very Carterton Christmas one to remember, not just for the fun but also for how we work collaboratively as a community to reduce the environmental impact.

Just a reminder that parking will be limited down town on Sunday with both the Carterton Christmas Parade and A Very Carterton Christmas. We would encourage you to walk, skate, bike, jog or dance down to Carrington Park from your place if you can then you won't need to worry about where to leave your car 🚘

Immediately following the Carterton Rotary Christmas Parade next week (Sunday 8 December), make your way down to Carrington Park and the A Very Carterton Christmas event for heaps of whanau fun!​

From 3.30pm there’ll be plenty of free and nearly free things to enjoy together as a community + all your favourite Christmas Carols, led by Nick Tansley.
