On Sunday March 17th we will be welcoming Trio Paradis with their concert entitled 'Daughters of the Muse', marking International Women's Day on March 8th. This will be a full length, Sunday tea-time concert. Doors open at 3.30pm and the concert will start at 4.00pm. Refreshments from our world renowned (well, nearly!) We are delighted to announce our next concert, on Sunday October 29th at 4.00pm entitled 'Local Folk', this will be acoustic music from various places and different periods played by local recorder ensemble Cadens, folk band Under New Management, flautist Adelaide Brown and others. Tickets £10.00 16s or under, free. Proceeds to All Saints’ Church Building Fund. Tickets will be on sale at the Market House and Bailey Hill Bookshop from 29th September.
A special treat this Wednesday - Trio Paradis are coming back for one last lunchtime concert at All Saints'. The theme is Travel Notes… and with the weather we've been having recently, many of us will probably be wanting to get away! The trio are playing a very varied programme of music inspired by means of travel, from Debussy's En bateau to Queen’s Bicycle Race, a ramble to a rocket, a train to a jet plane, a funicular railway, a hot air balloon and a helicopter ride. Music by Bizet, Dubois, Villa-Lobos, Alec Rowley and Richard Rodney Bennett… Children are welcome. All Saints' Church, Wednesday 2nd August, 2.00pm with coffee, tea and cake available from 1.30pm.
Sadly this is almost certainly the last lunchtime concert we will see from Trio Paradis due to funding issues, but we hope to see them return as part of our Sunday afternoon concert series.
Trio Paradis - their last concert in this season at All Saints' will be next Wednesday, 5th July. The theme is American music - including Ashokan Farewell, Deep River, Hoe-Down from Rodeo and music by some amazing female composers...

We had a lovely late afternoon concert last Sunday with Gregory Steward and surprise guest, his sister Ellen in a break from music college. Both very talented young singers with incredible voices.

Trio Paradis will be back in All Saints’ on Wednesday 7th June for another of their informal, afternoon concerts. The theme for this concert is ‘A Night at the Opera’, music includes: Mozart, Bizet, Purcell, Gluck, Verdi and Puccini. Some interesting combinations are possible...
Admission is by donation. Concert starts at 2.00pm, doors open at 1.30pm for tea / coffee and cake. Bring a friend, or come and make new ones.

The programme will include classical songs by Bellini, Tosti, Tchaikovsky and Puccini as well as some musical theatre songs from Carousel, Les Miserables and South Pacific along with some Neopolitan favourites such as O Sole Mio.

Trio Paradis are back at All Saints' next Wednesday - 3rd May at 2.00pm. This month's theme is Fantasies, Serenades & Scherzos. These afternoon concerts are friendly and informal, with admission by donation. Doors open at 1.30 for tea, coffee and cake.

Not to be missed! 30th April Bath University Chamber Choir with organist Peter King.
The University Chamber Choir was formed in 1977 to sing the large range of choral music suited to a choir of about thirty-five voices. It has performed extensively in Bath and the surrounding counties, and has given recitals in Bath, Malmesbury and Tewkesbury Abbeys and Chichester, Gloucester, Exeter, Salisbury and Wells Cathedrals as well as in many smaller churches in and around Bath.
Peter King is organist emeritus of Bath Abbey and was responsible for the design and installation of the Abbey’s Klais Organ. His 8 CDs with Bath Abbey Choir and his 12 CDs on the new Abbey organ have been highly acclaimed by the critics. Peter retired to Exeter six years ago, but remains very much in demand as a solo concert performer of the highest calibre.
Coming to All Saints' on 30th April - The University of Bath Chamber Choir accompanied by Organist Emeritus of Bath Abbey, Peter King.
This is a Sunday afternoon concert starting at 4.00pm - doors open at 3.30. Refreshments will be on sale during the interval.

It's the First Wednesday of the Month again, and Trio Paradis will be playing some more lovely music for us in All Saints' today. The theme is 'The Sea', and the music has been chosen to be particularly family friendly for the school holiday. As usual, the concert starts at 2.00pm with the doors opening for the pop-up cafe at 1.30.
Entry is by donation - please give as generously as you are able, so that these cheerful, friendly concerts can continue.

Last Wednesday's Trio Paradis cafe concert was perhaps the best yet, and the audience was certainly the biggest yet. We heard wonderful music by women who deserve to be much better known, starting with a piece by Hildegard of Bingen which made my spine tingle !
Next month's concert is on the theme of 'The Sea'. Falling in the Easter holiday, it is especially designed to be family friendly and appeal to children as well as adults. 5th April at 2.00pm - tea/coffee and cake from 1.30pm.

Trio Paradis are back at All Saints' on Wednesday, February 1st for a new season of cafe concerts. Informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café half an hour open before the concert.
February’s music is inspired by aspects of time and includes Ravel’s suite from L’Heure Espagnole, Grieg Morning and Circulo by Spanish composer Turina, a short trio with three movements: Dawn, Midday and Evening.
Concert lasts c45m. Entrance is free with donations invited. No need to book. All ages welcome, including children.

James will be playing more Cello Suites and our splendid More Than Tea team will be providing refreshments and a bar during the interval. Many thanks to all who contributed to making FibreFest a really wonderful success! We had a wide range of exhibits, lots of beautiful things to look at and marvel. The atmosphere was really friendly and we made more than £2000 towards the All Saints Development project.
